===Cylon Ship Category===
We then shoould create a new category for cylon ships, as the same with the colonial ships category to list all cylon ships under it. If we created that category, we then wouldnt need this page under the "cylon series".

If: Colonial Ships have own category; there isnt any page for the colonial like this.
So: if we create a category for the cylon ships, we wouldnt have them in the cylon series. If you want to keep it, you could just make the cylon spacecraft a link the the cylon ships category.

==Organic Cylon Crafts==
Are the interiors of Raiders, Basestars, etc. truly "organic"? I got the impression that they were synthetic; machines so advanced on a microscopic level that the overall "machine" is a "bio-chemical machine" rather than "organic". I'm not sure on this so I don't want to make any "demands", but I would like to say that I'm worred that calling it "organic" would lead to confusion that they're somehow Cyborgs; I think they're more a step between purely mechanical Centurions and humanoid Cylons. Perhaps "bio-mechanical" is a better term? Discuss. --[[User:Ricimer|Ricimer]]

== Heavy Raider Centurion Capacity ==

I was just wondering what the source for the figure 10 is; it appears unsourced with a "(?)" in [[Heavy Raider|the article proper]], so it should probably be mentioned there, as well. My justification for at least 5 is a count of the lights at the end of [[Scattered]] and the number of Centurions on Kobol guarding the SAM site. I just saw that an admin changed the verb tense on the edits I made to the [[Military Ranks (RDM)]] page to the passive, past tense, voice although the wiki policy states that we are to write in the active, present tense, voice.

When exactly is it appropriate to use the differing verb tense?

== Rank equivalences ==

These ranks have been speculatively expanded in order to provide a rough rank equivalence with the United States Navy. Many aspects of the following table are speculative. 
Rank equivalences in real life are usually established only when two organizations with differing rank structures have to work together and establish who outranks whom. As this obviously isn't happening between [[Colonial Fleet]] and the United States military, the following table exists mainly to improve understanding of Colonial ranks for those familiar with the US military and similarly structured organizations. However, the emphasis is on placing the ranks in their proper place within the BSG universe, which is why they don't necessarily match perfectly with modern ranks. This rank disparity is seen with the rank of Ensign, in the BSG universe, often applying to officers in training such as [[Diana Seelix]] who receives the rank immediately upon acceptance into flight training in the episode [[Dirty Hands]]. This use of the rank would likely place the BSG rank of Ensign lower in the command structure that the U.S. rank of the same name, which in the U.S. military is the rank of a fully commissioned officer who has completed their training.

The officer ranks of the [[Colonial Marine Corps]] have yet to be established on screen or by official sources and thus are not listed here.

<blockquote>"What is the rank structure? It doesn't seem consistant with the Navy."

"The rank structure is derived from the original series. I didn't want to change Commander Adama to Captain Adama or Colonel Tigh to Commander Tigh, so I elected to simply embrace the co-mingled nature of the original rank structure. For our internal purposes, we've decided that the ranks are indeed a mixture of naval and army nomenclature and are basically as follows:
