Serisone is a medical drug applied via injector. It can prevent fluid buildup in lungs, and is carried in standard Colonial Fleet medical kits. ([[Scattered]]) This drug is most likely named to be similar sounding to Earth anti-inflammatory steroid drugs like [[Wikipedia:prednisone|prednisone]]. Based on the description of what the drug does “prevent fluid buildup in lungs” the drug is most likely Lasix (furosemide), a high ceiling loop diuretic, used to draw fluid from the lungs.
