Best guess its a part from the Commsystem of Starbucks Viper that was capable of receiving the homing signal from earth, that noone else could receive. We saw Starbuck and Leoben track down the signal on earth so they probably removed it from the Viper and had it with them. Given Starbucks reaction to finding her body and everyone else being told nothing had been found, it imaginable that Leoben simply kept it, as noone else was bothering about it. == 35 Ships ==

I find it hard to believe that Gaeta's quote, 10 ships out of 35 is in reference to the entire fleet. That means half the fleets ships are gone, which doesn't jive with the number of people still alive OR onscreen destructions. If I'm not mistaken we've seen less than 10 ships destroyed on screen (Pixis, the Rising Star and 2-3 others, I think there were 3 lost in The Passage).

Since Gaeta doesn't definitively say anything that would indicate that 35 ships is nothing more than a statistic of some kind, and not necessarily the entire fleet, I'm going to remove that note from the Analysis section unless someone objects.[[User:RUSnooky|RUSnooky]] 04:05, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

In the [[Re-imagined Series]], propulsion systems are powered by fuel refined from [[tylium|tylium ore]]. A ship's primary propulsion systems, referred to as "sublight engines", allow it to travel at a slight fraction of the speed of light, which is sufficient to traverse the distances between planets in a solar system in relatively short timeframes. Most ships in the series also have a secondary system, called a [[#Faster-Than-Light travel|'''faster-than-light drive''']] (or '''"FTL"'''), that enables a ship to travel interstellar distances almost instantaneously, by "folding up space" in between the ship and its destination. Since, under normal circumstances, a ship that has used its FTL drive cannot be followed without explicit information about its destination, this technology is used extensively in strategic and tactical manuevers.

==Sublight propulsion==

In the Re-imagined Series, all ships have some manner of sublight flight ability. Sublight propulsion is convenient for intra-solar system travel (such as to or from the planets that comprise the [[The Twelve Colonies (RDM)|Twelve Colonies]]), but cannot be used for travel outside of a solar system as the time to arrive at a destination may exceed the fuel supply of the ship or the lifetime of the crew that fly the ship.

As many of the ships of the [[The Fleet (RDM)|Fleet]] are capable of landing on and taking off from planets, (such as New Caprica,) it is clear that sublight engines work in an atmosphere as well as in space. ''Galactica'' is never seen doing this, and its large mass might prohibit planetary landings altogether, but it employs sublight engines for normal spaceflight. Few of the ships appear to have extremely large propellant tanks as would be required for rocketry as it is presently understood, in spite of having aft-mounted thrusters. However, this might be explained by the properties of the [[tylium]] fuel. Smaller vessels are known to employ rocketry-based [[Navigation in the Re-imagined Series|RCS thrusters]] for maneuvering and small course adjustments.

Vipers are equipped with a thrust reversal system to counteract or arrest their forward momentum ([[The Hand of God (RDM)|The Hand of God]]). No such mechanism exists on capital ships, but such vessels might turn by 180° to decelerate.

Cylons [[Basestar (RDM)|baseships]] do not have any visible exhaust nozzles or other external structural mechanisms that suggest propulsion ability. It is possible that force fields of the [[Gravity in the Re-imagined Series|artificial gravity]] generators are the source of the sublight propulsion.

Both Colonial ([[Hero]]) and Cylon missiles used in combat appear to be rockets, leaving a trail of gas behind them.

The law of conservation of momentum requires that any propulsion system which adds momentum to a spacecraft or missile in one direction must equal the amount of momentum that is imparted in the opposite direction to something else, as in the example of the controlled combustion of rocket fuel creating thrust in the opposite direction of a ship's or missile's movement.

==Faster-Than-Light travel==

The term refers to a means of interstellar propulsion utilized by the [[Cylons (RDM)|Cylons]] and the [[The Twelve Colonies (RDM)|Colonials]]. A common shorthand term for FTL travel is '''"jumping"''', as this space-folding drive involves making instantaneous "jumps" across vast distances in space.<ref>http://www.scifi.com/battlestar/about/glossary/</ref>

The FTL drive makes interstellar travel possible for both the Colonials and Cylons. No longer confined to their own home solar system, the Cylons managed to avoid Colonial interference for 40 years after the [[Cylon War]] and establish their own [[Cylon homeworld|home-world]]. However, not all ships — from small to large — are outfitted with these drives ([[Miniseries]]).

It is likely that FTL drives are not commonplace on many civilian ships because of the costs involved in using and maintaining the drive and the amount of [[tylium|fuel]] available. For some civilian ships that travel comparatively short distances between some destinations, such as the ill-fated [[Botanical Cruiser]], FTL may simply be impractical or unnecessary.

The technology behind FTL systems is such that, providing the relevant data is known, ships can jump with a high degree of accuracy, allowing ships to rendezvous in space and even "park" in a synchronous orbit directly above a given point on a planet's surface ([[Miniseries]]). Proper FTL use even enables vessels to arrive in crowded areas, such as the middle of an asteroid field or other ships, without the risk of collision and damage ([[The Hand of God (RDM)|The Hand of God]]).

No specific information on the technology of an FTL drive has been given in the Miniseries or regular series. We know only that ''Galactica'' has two FTL drives<ref>Dialogue from Colonel [[Saul Tigh|Tigh]] to Lt. [[Felix Gaeta|Gaeta]] instructs the tactical officer to "spin up FTL drives 1 and 2" in the [[Miniseries]].</ref>, and that other smaller or civilian ships have a single drive. We also know from dialogue that the FTL drives on ''Galactica'' are "spun up", suggesting the application of electromagnetic or rotational principles. Similarly it may be just a turn of phrase.

FTL jump drives can be used ''within'' an atmosphere. This Colonial tactic is used often to evade Cylon detection. While [[Raptor]]s primarily perform these kind of jumps, Admiral [[William Adama]] performs a daring intra-atmosphere jump at approximately 100,000 feet altitude with ''[[Galactica]]'' during the [[Battle of New Caprica]] to evade immediate Cylon detection. The battlestar jumps back to space a few hundred feet above the planet's surface after its Viper deployment. When ''Galactica'' jumps, the clouds surrounding it and the re-entry fires consuming its hull are "sucked" into the vacuum created by the sudden loss of mass. A sonic boom is also heard afterward ([[Exodus, Part II]]).

=== Colonial Limitations ===

* Colonial FTL systems are not small-scale, and cannot be installed into vehicles such as the [[Viper (RDM)|Viper]]. They can, however, be used on vehicles the size of a [[Raptor]], which is limited to brief, short-distance jumps. Raptors can make a sequence of short FTL "hops" in a row, to reach the same destination as a capital ship with a full-sized FTL drive ([[Miniseries]]).
* Colonial FTL systems cannot be used multiple times over a long period of time, for they are prone to breakdown after excessive, repetitive use ([[33]]).
* FTL jumps can apparently induce nausea or discomfort in some people, such as [[Cally]] ([[Miniseries]], "[[Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part I]]").
* When "jumping" the Colonial drive systems are limited in size; this defines the maximum size to which a colonial vessel can be built (hence the need for certain [[Galactica type battlestar|battlestars]] to retract their landing pods and reduce their overall cross-section prior to a jump ([[Miniseries]], "[[33]]", etc.).
* Colonial FTL systems appear to be a holdover from the [[History of the Twelve Colonies#Exodus|Exodus]] from [[Kobol (RDM)|Kobol]], and their current designs have been developed to meet the needs of jumping between the [[The Twelve Colonies (RDM)|Twelve Colonies]], and their outposts in other star systems. Colonial FTL capabilities have defined limits, referred to as the [[Red Line]], beyond which jumps may not be possible / could result in damage to a vessel's drive system / lead to navigational inaccuracies that might put the ship at risk.
* Navigators must be careful to plan FTL jump paths in order to keep a safe distance from planets or other large objects ([[Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part I]]).
* "Spooling up" a Colonial FTL drive takes at least 20 minutes when the drive has been offline. ([[Crossroads Part II]]). Because of this when ships enter dangerous situations, they keep their FTL drives "spun up."

Knowing the limitations of their own FTL drives, a team apparently led by Lieutenant [[Felix Gaeta]] successfully refitted a [[Raptor]] with the navigational computer from a captured [[Heavy Raider]] (presumably the one used by [[Kara Thrace]] to return from Caprica in "[[Home, Part I]]"). They later use its improved jump plots (with the aid of the cooperative copy of [[Sharon Valerii (Caprica copy)|Sharon Valerii]]) to coordinate a squadron of Raptors to fly back to Caprica for a rescue mission to retrieve a [[Caprica Resistance|team of resistance fighters there]] ([[Lay Down Your Burdens, Part I]]). Despite the accuracy of the advanced Cylon FTL technology and Valerii's aid in marking the jumps, two Raptors do not complete the mission. One obtains corrupted jump data and finds itself within a nebula and a undiscovered [[New Caprica|habitable planet]], and is forced to return to the Fleet. The second Raptor also receives corrupted coordinates and materializes inside a nearby mountain on the final intra-atmosphere jump to Caprica, with the loss of ship and crew.

=== Cylon Advantages in FTL ===

* Cylon FTL systems can be manufactured on a smaller scale to their Colonial equivalent, thus allowing the [[Cylon Raider]] to be outfitted with an FTL drive. ([[Miniseries]]).
* Cylon FTL drive systems are far more efficient than their Colonial equivalent. Tests with the Raider captured by the [[Battlestar]] ''[[Galactica]]'' ([[You Can't Go Home Again]]) demonstrated that the drive could enable the Raider to jump directly from the vicinity of [[Kobol (RDM)|Kobol]] back to [[The Twelve Colonies (RDM)#Caprica|Caprica]] ([[Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part I]]) - a jump completed by Lieutenant [[Kara Thrace]] during her search for the [[Arrow of Apollo]] ([[Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part II]]).
* That superiority however does not stem directly from the FTL drives, but mainly from the superior Cylon navigation system, resulting in more accurate jump calculations. Colonial vessels interfaced with a Cylon computer can increase their jump range by a factor greater than ten ([[Lay Down Your Burdens, Part I]]).

Given that the Cylons left Colonial space to find their own planet, it is possible that their longer-range FTL capability was created in response to a desire to be able to cover the distance between their homeworld and those of the [[The Twelve Colonies (RDM)|Twelve Colonies]] with a single jump.

The Cylons may also be capable of [[faster-than-light communication]].

==Background to FTL in the Re-imagined Series==

In establishing the series the creators of the [[Re-imagined|new Battlestar Galactica]] determined to keep everything within the show very "[[Naturalistic science fiction|natural]]". This means steering away from the standard clichés of television science-fiction: no bumpy-head aliens, no remarkable technology such as matter/anti-matter conversion, etc. So how is the concept of faster-than-light travel possible within this precept?

===Underpinning Theories===

The FTL drive technology used within the [[Re-imagined Series]] appears to be based on the use of [[Wikipedia:Superstring Theory|Superstring Theory]] and [[Wikipedia:M-Theory|M-Theory]] that essentially enable the "jump drive" systems to "fold" space, reducing the distance between any two points by creating a "corridor" through space that links them together (essentially forming a wormhole, or Einstein-Rosen Bridge). Such "corridors" are allowed by the general theory of relativity; what [[Wikipedia:M-Theory|M-Theory]] does is provide a way to change the topology of space-time dynamically.

The use of such Wormholes is based on the tenet that space is curved. Hence the term "[[Wikipedia:Wormhole|wormhole]]", which arises from the analogy that space can be seen as an apple. A worm can travel from one side of the apple to the other in two ways:
* By crawling over the surface, or
* By burrowing through the apple (creating a "wormhole").
Obviously, the second option is considerably shorter than the first.

===Relativistic Acceleration===
A key point concerning the use of wormholes within the new ''Battlestar Galactica'' is that they do not break the fundamental limiting factor of our universe: the speed of light. Vessels in ''Battlestar Galactica'' do not accelerate to faster-than-light velocities. Rather, they use the wormhole to reduce the distance to their destination, thus giving the ''impression'' of faster-than-light travel.

However, the FTL jumps in the series do allow information to be sent faster than light can send it, which results in a violation of causality within the special theory of relativity. (ie. If event A comes before B from one viewpoint, there will be other equally valid viewpoints where event B takes place before A.) Causality is not violated by FTL in a universe that has a special fixed reference frame, however this contradicts current understanding.

This is the reason why FTL jumps are virtually instantaneous within episodes. It also means that the only ''direct'' form of propulsion available for vessels is generated by their [[Sublight Propulsion|sublight drive systems]]<ref>In turn, this is why vessels exiting from a jump are traveling at the same velocity as when they committed to the jump ([[Miniseries]], "[[33]]," "[[The Hand of God (RDM)|The Hand of God]]," and other episodes).</ref>.

===Feasibility===
While the use of wormholes in this manner is not currently possible, work is progressing on superstring and M-Theory which may make the creation of wormholes possible in the future. The limiting factor is the ability to generate negative energy densities, which are allowed (though severely restricted) by quantum mechanics. As such, the use of such systems again meets one of the stated desires of the the producers of the new Battlestar Galactica: not to rely on the "traditional" trappings of science-fiction that require exotic science and technology. Theoretical physicist [[Wikipedia:Kip Thorne|Kip Thorne]] has carried out extensive research into wormholes, and helped develop a scientifically-consistent means of wormhole travel used by [[Wikipedia:Carl Sagan|Carl Sagan]] in his novel [[Wikipedia:Contact (novel)|"Contact"]] which bears a remarkable similarity to the technology employed within Battlestar Galactica.

'''Romo Lampkin''' is a highly capable, though ethically questionable, lawyer in the [[the Fleet (RDM)|Fleet]]. He is a [[Wikipedia:kleptomania|kleptomaniac]] with tendencies of deception and psychological lying. Lampkin was an understudy of [[Joseph Adama]], a man who he hates, yet respects.

Prior to the [[Fall of the Twelve Colonies]], he worked in the public litigation office on [[The Twelve Colonies (RDM)#Caprica|Caprica]], where he likely met and studied under Adama. His parents were robbed and murdered when he was nine. He was previously married for a period of 10 years, his only remaining possession he has from the marriage is a [[Lance|cat]] whom he claims to dislike, but the cat does not "scratch or bite like [[Romo Lampkin (wife of)|she]] did".

Lampkin is assigned as [[Gaius Baltar]]'s lawyer after the previous lawyer, [[Alan Hughes]], is killed in a bombing of [[Margaret Edmondson|Margaret "Racetrack" Edmondson]]'s [[Raptor]]. He claims to take the case because of fame and glory and, despite questions raised about his previous experience, appears insufferably self-confident and pompous.

Amongst his behaviors, Lampkin claims that interrogation rooms give him "[[w:stage fright|stage fright]]". He also tends to channel his kleptomania by stealing objects he believes are important from a psychological perspective, for instance he steals [[Laura Roslin]]'s glasses, believing that it would make her appear less serious during the trial. As a psychological trick, Romo Lampkin typically wears a pair of sunglasses, which he takes off or lowers when he wants his subject to look him in his uncovered eyes.

As Lampkin is Baltar's lawyer, he is also a target of two attacks carried out by Captain [[Aaron Kelly]], with Lampkin being injured in the last, after the door to his room was wired with an explosive device. Consequently Lampkin walks with a cane ([[The Son Also Rises]]).

When the prosecuting lawyer, [[Cassidy]], presents a haunting account of mankind's dwindling numbers, Lampkin changes Baltar's plea to "guilty". In another controversial and unusual move, he gets Lee Adama, who joined Lampkin after having a falling out with his father, to take the stand and testify on Baltar's behalf. Adama delivers an empassioned testimony about the Fleet's ways to let people off the hook and the reasons why Baltar is tried nonetheless. Adama's testimony plays a key role in his subsequent acquittal. As Lampkin takes his leave of Adama after the trial, he leaves back his cane and walks without a limp; thus showing how he manipulated Adama and the court ([[Crossroads, Part I]] and [[Crossroads, Part II|Part II]]).

The '''Laura Roslin faction''' is an ad-hoc conspiracy of [[Colonial]]s who support and aid in breaking President [[Laura Roslin]] from ''[[Galactica (RDM)|Galactica]]'s'' brig, who keep her in hiding, and may assist in reinstating Roslin as the effective leader of mankind. Most of the participants hide their participation in order to maintain their positions aboard ''Galactica'', with only a few openly defying Colonel [[Saul Tigh]]'s declaration of martial law.

==Beginning of the faction==
The impetus of this conspiracy occurs after the tragic death of unarmed civilians on the ''[[Gideon]]'' by a group of [[marines]], who are lead by an inexperienced [[Viper (RDM)|Viper]] pilot, during an operation to procure needed supplies for the [[Galactica type battlestar|battlestar]].

==The faction members==
The conspiracy to free Roslin, as of "[[Resistance (episode)|Resistance]]", openly includes:

*Laura Roslin herself.
*Captain [[Lee Adama]], who coordinates with other members of the conspiracy and pilots the Raptor. He was imprisoned in the brig along with Roslin but was often released on parole in order to carry out his duties as the [[CAG]].
*[[Elosha]], Roslin's priest, escapes with Roslin aboard the Raptor.
*[[Billy Keikeya]], Roslin's aide, assists in breaking her out of prison but refuses to escape with her, ostensibly because he does not approve of Roslin's decision.
*[[Kara Thrace]], who begins the fractioning by disobeying orders and leaving for Caprica in the captured [[Cylon Raider (RDM)|Cylon Raider]] to retrieve the [[Arrow of Apollo]].

==Others==
Conspirators whose involvement is kept secret include:

*Doctor [[Cottle]], who signs an authorization to release a Raptor for flight ops. He later claims that he was forced to do so at gunpoint, but this may be to cover himself — all the viewer sees is that Roslin herself initially approaches him.
*Petty Officer [[Anastasia Dualla|Dualla]], who has a number of covert meetings with Lee Adama and gets a series of orders signed in order to cover for Roslin's escape, including closing causeway B (the main escape route) as well as, presumably, authorization to launch the Raptor.
*Lt. [[Felix Gaeta]], who Dualla seems to include on the plot, covers up the off-duty calls made throughout the course of the conspiracy when asked by Tigh.
*Corporal [[Venner]], the marine assigned to guard Roslin, has been sneaking her [[chamalla]] during her incarceration and included himself in on the escape plot, asking another unnamed Marine to punch him in the face to create the appearance that he was knocked out in the jailbreak.
*[[Karl Agathon|Helo]], who returned with Starbuck from his exile on Caprica and has accepted his part of the search for the Tomb of Athena. As he has not been on ''Galactica'' since the [[Cylon Attack]] began, he is only becoming fully aware of the significance of his participation. No others on ''Galactica'' know that he has returned and is still presumed dead.
*[[Margaret Edmondson|Racetrack]], who falsely claims her Raptor is having technical problems as an excuse for Lee Adama to go to the hangar deck.

Non-members of the conspiracy who nonetheless assisted include:

*An unnamed Marine private who accosts Laura Roslin on Causeway B, but does not fire upon her or otherwise prevent her escape.

At the end of "[[Resistance (episode)|Resistance]]", Roslin's getaway crew meets [[Tom Zarek]] aboard ''[[Cloud Nine]]'', a meeting that Lee Adama arranged, figuring that Zarek's network would have the resources necessary to help Roslin. Roslin, naturally, has reservations, and for good reason — Zarek, a convicted terrorist, was arguably in on a plot to assassinate Roslin ([[Colonial Day]]). Nonetheless, she grudgingly concedes that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend", accepting Zarek's help.

Interestingly, [[Ellen Tigh]], who in "[[Colonial Day]]" is implied to become a Zarek operative, is the one encouraging her husband to take extreme measures in asserting his authority. This might suggest the possibility that she is trying to set up Tigh in a blatantly bad position, in order for Zarek to come in and "save" the populace from him.

Dr. [[Gaius Baltar]], the elected Vice-President of the Colonies, expresses the opinion to Colonel Tigh that given Roslin's imprisonment, he is the legitimately serving President. Despite this adherence to the [[Articles of Colonization]], Baltar seems uninvolved in the Roslin faction, as he is busy with other things at the time.

In "[[Home, Part I]]" and "[[Home, Part II]]", Adama returns to Kobol in order to reunite the Fleet. It is [[Anastasia Dualla|Dualla]] who convinces Commander Adama to reunite the fleet, pointing out that deep down Adama is upset that he failed in his promise to bring everyone to Earth, and that "[[Lee Adama|children]] are separated from their [[William Adama|parents]]". After finding Roslin's landing party on Kobol, Adama chooses to again recognize her as the President, ending the break.

Hey, page authors: spoilers from hidden fields on this page are showing up in Google right now! If you Google "Romo Lampkin" you'll see them, even though they're not visible on this page. And Google searches don't have spoiler warnings so guys, maybe you should get rid of those hidden fields altogether and wait till the facts have been revealed? My concern is that these spoilers are in HTML hidden fields, so it seems that they may not be intended to be visible to anyone, even to page viewers who have been warned. Meanwhile, anyone doing a casual Google search on Lampkin will see the spoiler right away (it's only the 6th result on the page). In other words, you can see spoilers on Google that page viewers themselves can't see (without a view source anyway). If we really want to suppress certain text from appearing in indexed search results, one solution is to embed the relevant text in a bit of Javascript which merely prints the text with <tt>document.write</tt> (this could be done easily with a template). : Yes, it's not clear to me what the heck Baltar's Aerelon accent was. It didn't sound particularly Irish to me, but I'm a Canadian, so my understanding of Irish/British accents is not great. On a [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aerelon Wikipedia article on the Twelve Colonies], someone claimed it was a Yorkshire accent. That sounds at least plausible to me.

:::::Well, one could argue that there is a silly page inflation, but it's not the same as fan fiction. Those pages generally poke fun at episodes, characters or events directly seen in the show. Some are articles about funny behind the scenes material. Two of the articles are official gag-reel related. One is about the R&D TV clips at the end of the episodes. They aren't ''completely'' made up and pertain more directly towards the onscreen content than fan fiction. That's not meant as a slight against fan fiction, but BSWiki is dedicated to documenting the official material. The silly pages are already stretching that a bit, but opening the gates to fan fiction any further would probably create a precedent for anyone who wants to advertise and post fan material here. This way we have a clear line on what can be written here and what not. Of course I understand that you might reach more readers by being posted here, but there are other places for that. Even then, the content in them is more canonical than fan fiction, such as the [[Numerology]] and [[Season 3 gag reel]]. Again, we have nothing against fan fiction, but we do have an article on [[fan fiction]], which does include links to fan fiction in the Galactica universe.

:::::::::Well, we have attempted to "fix" the problem, and the issue is that there's not a clear consensus on ''how'' to fix it (certainly not from the people who pointed it out in the first place), or a clear idea of ''what the problem is'' (other than we don't have a large amount of female contributors). As for the relationship analysis, I have no problem with analyzing character interactions, since character development is key to BSG (including the old one, though it never got as deep as it really could've been). With that said, I'd like to see what you have in mind. :::A few corrections: I'm not the leader of Battlestar Alliance, we have a leadership team, in addition to a leader which is selected from the leadership team every year. Right now, the leader of our Alliance is Shawn O'Donnell, who is the president of the [http://www.battlestarfanclub.com Battlestar Fan Club]. Also, not all that information (as well as the spit-and-polish) is up yet, because all my editing software is on my laptop, which needs its hard drive repaired. (I'm waiting for DiskWarrior so I can fix the HFS volume on my Mac.) I hope to have the website fully online by Friday or Saturday, depending on whether or not DW will fix my HDD.

:::The original series is treated the same as the RDM version on this Wiki. While it's generally acknowledged that this WIki was originially started (correct me if I'm wrong Joe) because of the RDM version, we all recognize that TOS paved the way and had its great moments. Therefore, any TOS fandom site links are treated the same as the RDM fandom site links. With that said, I'd like to see what you have in mind. ::I tend to agree. I've just watched the Mini, and there is no mention of the class-D warheads being nuclear. The interior view of the basestar that Boomer and Racetrack are afforded is overwhelming – a vast, cavernous void of bio-mechanical components lacking a distinctive floor or ceiling. Surfaces appear organic – fleshy if they were to be touched – resembling the interiors of a Raider. During the deployment of the nuclear warhead, Boomer exits the Raptor and removes her helmet, indicating that the interior space is indeed pressurized and oxygenated, more than likely controlled by ventricle-like airlocks evident during the Raptor's entrance. The pair extricate themselves from inside the basestar, and once outside, detonate the warhead. The annihilation of this basestar represents the first aired instance in the series that Colonial forces successfully destroy a basestar ([[Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part II]]).

As a means of buying time until the disabled FTL drive was repaired, Major Adama directs the battlestar's forward gun batteries to barrage the closest basestar, focusing on the core of it until it is forced to withdraw. I was thinking that "[[The Chosen One]]" referred to in this instance is [[Chief Tyrol]]. The Hybrid says "the five lights of the apocalypse rising struggling towards the light, the sins revealedonly to those who enter the temple only to the chosen one", and since Baltar was not present during the revelation of a few of the [[Final Five]] at the end of the [[Crossroads, Part II|Season 2 Finale]] when [[Tigh]], Tyrol, [[Anders]] and [[Tory Foster|Foster]] converged in the gym.

Should a page be made to describe The Chosen One, which will then be fleshed out when more is revealed? Since its never stated that the Chosen One is a Cylon, but it is implied that it is [[Baltar]] by the Hybrid's deliberate focus, it is certainly speculation that Tyrol could be The Chosen One, which would argue against his inclusion in such an article until canonized. ::::::I agree Talos, that approach is rather humorous. It's not creative by any means, but brutally functional nonetheless. Too bad they couldn't have just pasted the name of a Colonial appliance company on the Toaster...otherwise I would have had another article to write! But could you imagine what it would be like if they hadn't covered the name and some fans noticed? An Earth company in the Colonies. I can only imagine the crazy theories that would surface on the Internet (a similar fiasco occured after the Miniseries, where Tigh said "Jesus." Since the fans knew that Christianity wasn't even known to the Colonies, some insane theories came out on threads).

This is picture is pixellated beyond belief (and recognition). Veepz, it looks like you took a thumbnail photo and blew it up, which causes the large pixels.
