'''Nicholas Stephen Tyrol''' is the infant son of [[Cally Tyrol]].

He was born some time between the end of "[[Lay Down Your Burdens, Part II]]" (c. day 680) and "[[Battlestar Galactica: The Resistance#Episode 1|Battlestar Galactica: The Resistance, Part I]]" (c. day 727), and is [[Dedication ceremony|dedicated]] to the service of [[Ares]] and [[Apollo, Lord of Kobol|Apollo]] ([[Battlestar Galactica: The Resistance#Episode 10|Battlestar Galactica: The Resistance, Part X]]).

Chief Tyrol tells [[Sharon Agathon]] that Nicholas is named after [[Cally Tyrol (grandfather of)|Cally's grandfather]] ([[Exodus, Part I]]).

When Cally finds out that her husband is a Cylon, she attempts to kill herself and her son. However, [[Tory Foster]], under the guise of dissuading her from her actions, takes Nicholas into her arms, only to [[Airlock|space]] Cally herself ([[The Ties That Bind]]).

Doc Cottle later revealed that Galen Tyrol was not the true father.
