It is true that Grace Park is a fluent speaker of Korean, but her English--either as Sharon Valerii or as herself in interviews--bears no trace of a Korean accent whatsoever. I am married to a native Korean speaker, have friends and colleagues who speak Korean either as their first or second language, and have been studying the language for a few years myself, so I am absolutely certain that Korean has no bearing on what might or might not be considered an Aerelon accent.

Can I just respond to you here, for now? It seems more convenient. You said that Grace Park's bilingualism would come up eventually. I would recommend limiting discussions of her bilingualism to the actress' bio page. The label "Korean" doesn't meaningfully describe anything that's going on when Sharon/Boomer is speaking. My own Korean is getting good enough that I'm approaching true "bilingual" status, but nobody would use "Korean" to describe my English.

A comma is after the second quotation mark, not before, when the reason there are quotation marks is that it's an episode title, as this makes the marks part of an object not a quote. == Osiris ==

I know. It's weird. But I keep hearing it referenced as a Battlestar in official media. To me, it isn't, but I asked about it on the official B&C Facebook page, which I think is run by one of BSG Wiki's founders, I got a reply back stating it's written on the ship's patch. When I went back to episode 4, I can barely see "battlestar" written on it, but the ship is too dark to make out the ship's name. Curiously, many of the characters are filmed from their right side.

I've put in an inquiry to the ANOVOS page (who made the B&C uniforms), to see what they did with the patch.

Maybe perhaps in canon it might be an earlier "battlestar" built before the onset of the war? It's been said on Serge's Twitter that the Colonials were already using that designation before the war.

Let me know on my talk page when you get this with your response. I didn't get that message from you until a few minutes ago so sorry about that. You can erase the Delphi Skirmish page if you want, your probably right about that, but the others should probably stay. Most of my other edits that are not new pages are adding information where its lacking and in some pages like the Sharon Valerii page adding the episode tags. I wrote most of the information where those tags had to go myself back when the episode came out (I also created some of the battle pages such as the Battle of the Colony) and forgot to add them then. I noticed it and fixed it that's all. On the Kobol battle page I added a bit more where it seemed warranted. I actually considered adding the Skirmish on Kobol as part of that battle but then I decided to make it separate since I figured there must be a reason it wasn't added there as part of that battle. Not too sure about the Skirmish With a Raider page so if you think it should go do it but I thought it should be added since they ''did'' battle that Raider. The one with Scar should stay since that was kinda a major skirmish. I added Hera's kidnapping since that was a major event that led up to the Battle of the Colony. The one at the farm was kinda major since that's where they met Simon for the first time and its more than just a hand-to-hand fight so I'd like that kept if possible. I figured it'd be alright to add the skirmishes since the one over the Red Moon is there so its obviously not forbidden. I'm just on a BSG craze lately and decided to add some stuff. That's it though besides any edits to existing pages I feel need to be done. As for the multiple edits to the pages I created that was mostly me going back and editing ''myself'' where I noticed mistakes when I read the completed product. My computer is giving me a hard time with displaying the finished work and I can't get preview pages. I actually have to save then hit Back to the original opened page to see what I've done all the time. Believe it or not I've got Rollback rights on the Kane Chronicles wiki due to my contributions there (don't really understand that) and was promoted to Administrator myself on the Gears of War wiki. Hi, I'm a long-time (but incredibly infrequent) poster, so my skills are virtually nil. I wrote an article at [[Battlestar Galactica Movie]], which is pretty terrible. ==Description==
A prophecy is fulfilled when Peter Attis is rescued from the Cylons in order to save humanity with "the plague of the tongue." Or so it seems…

While harvesting algae for conversion into food, the beleaguered human/refugee fleet is discovered by a small group of Cylon raiders. A brief battle ends with the destruction of a Cylon heavy raider. A colonial issue escape pod found floating among the debris reveals two survivors inside: Singer Peter Attis . . . and his captor, a Cylon Number Eight.

Soon after Peter's liberation, people begin babbling incoherently and dropping into comas. Unwittingly, Peter has been spreading a highly contagious, nerve-deteriorating Cylon biological weapon -- and he just performed for half the fleet. As Dr. Gaius Baltar begins work on a cure, word starts to spread that a fanatical sect believes that Peter is the religious leader who will save humanity and that this virus is their path to salvation. They are willing to do anything to keep Baltar's vaccine from being distributed.

He and his brother [[Sam Adama|Sam]] were orphaned during the [[Tauron Civil War]] and grew up in a Caprican orphanage. Their father was William. (Joseph's son is the namesake of Joseph's father.) Joseph became an influential defense attorney with ties to the [[Ha'la'tha]], an organized crime underworld, as a result of having his education paid for by them.

Fifty-eight years before the [[Fall of the Twelve Colonies|Fall]], his wife and daughter are killed in [[Ben Stark]]'s suicide bombing of the [[Lev]] in [[Caprica City]]. Sometime later in his life, Adama went back to his original family name, given his revelation to young William about their family name weeks after the terrorist attack.

Adama believed that law was a way of exorcising everyone's demons, a belief that lead him to defend "the worst of the worst." Lee Adama remembered reading about how Joseph let "murderers go free," though never understanding why Joseph put himself through the abuse. In a discussion with Lampkin, it is revealed to Lee that Adama sought to understand the motivations that cause people to cheat, why people reward their enemies, go to war, and why people [[Cylons (RDM)|build machines to correct their flaws and shortcomings]] ([[The Son Also Rises]]). Lee apparently remains ignorant to Joseph Adama's connections to the Ha'la'tha, while it is uncertain whether Lampkin knew of the connection.

Adama always carried a silver lighter during his cases; he considered it good luck, and claimed he only lost a case when he left it at home. He later gave it to his son William, who, after the [[Fall of the Twelve Colonies|holocaust]], loaned it to his own son as a token of luck for a [[Battle for the Tylium Asteroid|crucial mission]], which was returned to him after the mission's success ([[The Hand of God (RDM)|The Hand of God]]).

Before going to trial, Adama would always break pencils before entering the courtroom as a reminder to "break preconceptions" and "work with what you had." He would then ask to borrow a pencil from the clerk. The [[Humanoid Cylon|humanoid Cylons]], as well as a small minority of humans, worship a single deity they call only by the name of '''God'''. The Cylons profess a series of commandments given by their God. However, the specific commandments have not been fully revealed.

==Twelve Colonies==
A small minority of monotheistic humans existed on the [[Twelve Colonies (RDM)|Twelve Colonies]] before the Fall. Their religion was looked upon as dangerous and heretical by the majority of Colonial society and most of them were forced to hide their beliefs. The secret monotheistic organization was known as the [[Soldiers of the One]] and considered a terrorist group by the Caprica government.

Two of them were [[Zoe Graystone]], a closeted monotheist and her boyfriend, [[Ben Stark]], who was more fanatical of the two. Graystone and Stark died in a suicide bombing caused by the latter, but Zoe had created a digital copy of herself before her death. Zoe Graystone's avatar, Zoe-A, was later uploaded into the first Colonial Cylon, a mechanical model created by her father, [[Daniel Graystone]]. The fact that the first Centurion in the Colonies had the memories of a human monotheist might have been the cause of the Cylons' belief in one God.

The [[Cylon Centurion Model 0005|Cylon Centurions]] that participated in the [[First Cylon War]] practiced this monotheistic religion. The [[Final Five]] Cylons from [[Earth (RDM)|Earth]], [[Samuel Anders]], [[Tory Foster]], [[Ellen Tigh]], [[Saul Tigh]], and [[Galen Tyrol]], encountered these Centurions and were encouraged, Ellen in particular, by the possibility that their belief in a single loving God could end the cycle of violence. ==First Hybrid==
Cylon databases report of a [[First Hybrid|protoype Hybrid]] which was the result of early experiments in evolution to biological beings. This experiment was considered a failure but believed by some to still be alive. When [[Kendra Shaw]] meets this hybrid, he declares that "my children believe I am a god" and he makes a number of statements demonstrating significant and prophetic knowledge. He refers to Kendra as "my child." ([[Razor]]).

==Baltar==
[[Gaius Baltar]], initially sceptical of all religion, is converted to the Cylon faith though the persuasion of his [[Virtual Six]] and comes to conclude that he is an agent of God ([[The Hand of God (RDM)|The Hand of God]]). Despite this Baltar is far from a model believer and his path of faith is very rocky.

Upon orders from Virtual Six, Baltar instructs his [[Cult of Baltar|cult]], who appear to regard him as a prophet, to follow the "one true God", though it does not seem likely he has explained that this is also the Cylon God.

A number of elements from the show derive from Mormonism, the religion of series creator [[Glen Larson]]. In particular, the concept of a lost [[Thirteenth Tribe (RDM)|Thirteenth Tribe]] is from Mormon legend. The [[Quorum of Twelve (RDM)|Quorum of Twelve]] is also a Mormon concept.

So this leaves it ambiguous. However, we know Caprica Six was reorn in the Ship (too soon for facilities), and according to Grace Park, "boomer is resurrected in a ship" [http://board.thescifiworld.net/viewtopic.php?t=806&sid=60057d056a2b52f7a44b77433852b221].

I've been wondering - in Rapture the implication to me in Rapture was that Athena downloaded to the Basestar that Hera was on. Do folks think that she downloaded to an unseen resurrection ship and then got over to the Basestar somehow? [[User:Meatwad|Meatwad]] 12:24, 16 April 2007 (CDT)

I have a question (series).

Ellen Tigh was resurrected shortly after her death on New Caprica, in her body (not another model's). In order for this to make sense, Cavil had to have secretly kept a copy of her body (and presumably those of the other Final Five) since the First Cylon War.

Furthermore, Kara Thrace seems to have been resurrected before the destruction of the Resurrection Hub. (We don't even know if she's a Cylon; I think there's a good chance she's a half-Cylon, but that only adds to the confusion.) We don't know whether half-Cylons can be resurrected, as there's been so few and we're not sure Thrace is half-Cylon (or any part Cylon) or not anyway, but [i]if[/i] she is, this means:

1) Half-Cylons can be resurrected.
2) How/why did someone keep a copy of her body lying around? (If she's a half-Cylon, it seems this would have been a secret to the Cylons.)
