Hello Joe, I was wondering if their might be a possibility of us adding on a message board for members of BSG Wiki to discuss the actual show rather than the website itself. I think that if we created a community message board it would promote a greater community/fraternity among the members and if we limited it to members it might decrease the number of random messages left on the board. I know it is kind of unwiki of us to do this but since this particular site it concerned with BSG rather than a plethora of items I thought it might be a good idea. What do you think? ::I'd like to add a quote, but, uh... I don't want to mess it up because it then won't be seen for a year, I think. Is there a way to look at quotes that have already been put in, so I can copy the formatting? I tried the little Quote link, but the one that was added for 08 29 wasn't on there, so I think that's not right. Or something. Whatever--the indication of who said it that's the issue. Do we put the name with a dash before? Two dashes? Do we do it in-line or on the next one down or two down? Do we do it in italics or bold or normal font? Do we say the situation all the time or only if needed? Should we link the episode it came from? "Red-Eye" was the name given to the only surviving [[Cylon Centurion (TOS)|Centurion]] that crash-landed on the planet [[Equellus]] in a [[Cylon Raider (TOS)|raider]]. [[Lacerta]] found the cylon in the wreckage of its ship and used the Centurion -- who believed that Lacerta was its "[[Imperious Leader]]" (most likely because of damage to its memory it suffered in the crash) -- to terrorize the local towns people for nine [[yahren]].

Red-Eye obtained a Colonial [[laser pistol]] from [[Puppis]]' father, a marooned Colonial [[Warrior]] known as [[Martin]], who had arrived some time previously and who attacked the cylon on sight.

Red-Eye's armored exterior was proof against any [[numo]], the only weapon available to the natives of [[Equellus]]. When [[Apollo(TOS)|Apollo]] encountered it the centurion had numerous dents from previous attempts to destroy it, none of which had seriously damaged it. Red-Eye's sensor eye made a sound distinctly different from that of most cylon centurions, perhaps again due to damage it suffered in the original crash.

Under [[Lacerta]], Red-Eye appropriated "tribute" (i.e., livestock, food, valuables) from the townspeople in exchange for their lives. Lacerta's reign of terror ended after [[Apollo (TOS)|Apollo]] was forced to land on the planet. At first Apollo refused to act against Red-Eye, believing that more Cylons might be present on the planet. He destroyed the Cylon after he heard the story of Red-Eye's origin and realized that it was alone.

In total, 10 people died at Red-Eye's hand, including [[Bootes]], [[Puppis]]' uncle. ([[The Lost Warrior (TOS)]])
