The '''Mother''' is the leader of the religion in the [[Twelve Colonies of Kobol]] that worships [[God (RDM)|the one true God]], based in a mountain range on [[Gemenon]].

She authorizes [[Obal Ferras]] to dispose of [[STO]] leader [[Clarice Willow]] given his belief that [[apotheosis]] is "blasphemy", but Willow manages to turn the assassination attempt back against Ferras. The Mother watches Ferras' death from a balcony before leaving, upset. She then meets with Willow and authorizes her to take control of all STO cells on [[Caprica (RDM)|Caprica]] so that the plan for apotheosis can be carried out. ([[CAP]]: [[Unvanquished]])
