In the novelization by Michael Resnick, this character is named Dana Anderson, who is the West Coast News Director of United Broadcasting Corporation and an award winning journalist who has interviewed various governors, presidents, and other people of importance. Anderson is described as a tall, graying man, who happens to be an atheist, and offers Jamie Hamilton a three-year contract if she successfully gets an interview with Dr. Alfred Mortinson.

Anderson later snags an interview with Mortinson after his first meeting with "terrorists" Troy and Dillon, and, after Hamilton's return from 1944 C.E., believes she is sympathetic to the so-called terrorists. After being contacted at the office by Dillon to warn her about Xaviar, she informs him that Anderson has put a trace on their call, much to Anderson's irritation. After this, Hamilton terminates her employment with Anderson.
The magnetic void is a space phenomenon which obscures stars and causes sensor malfunctions on ships. A ship can find itself easily lost within such a void due to these navigational hazards.

A magnetic void was described in the Book of the Word during the exodus from Kobol. Adama finds the story useful in finding the planet, where he hopes to learn more about the path of the Thirteenth Tribe Lost Planet of the Gods, Part II.
After fleeing from Carillon, the Fleet heads into deep space coming across two locations, one of them being a magnetic void. Captain Apollo and Lieutenant Starbuck probe this void, which almost results in Apollo being lost were it not for the quick actions of Starbuck in extricating his flight leader from the void.

Buoyed by this discovery, Commander Adama consults his texts and considers entering the void. After discovering a cure for a Otarsis virus and engaging the Cylons at an Otarsis Quadrant, the Fleet heads into the void (marvel). Within this void, the planet from myth, Kobol, and the coordinates to Earth are discovered before Lucifer attacks the Colonials on Kobol's surface (marvel).

The Fleet remains within the dubious safety of the magnetic void, during which shipmaster Shadrack works to outfit sub-light ships with lightspeed drives (marvel). The Fleet inevitably leaves the void when they make the jump towards Earth, whose coordinates are recovered after Adama uses the memory machine to remember what he saw within the tomb on Kobol (marvel).
:The battlestar Galactica and the Colonial fleet reach the planet Earth, but soon realize that the Cylon fleet, long thought to be gone, has trailed them to the fabled planet, and will stop at nothing to extinguish all human life.

Summary
* Thirty years after the destruction of the Colonies, the Fleet receives information from remote probes that they have at last found Earth.

* Adama and Doctor Zee, a child genius that advises the Commander, discover that they have arrived at Earth in 1980, but the planet's inhabitants, descendants of the Thirteenth Tribe, are at a low level of cultural and technological development in comparison to the remnants of the Twelve Colonies of Man.
*Dr. Zee informs Adama that the Fleet cannot land on Earth. When Adama objects, Zee notes that the Cylons have followed them to Earth. When Adama reminds him that the Cylons had not been seen in a "billion star miles", Zee notes that their enemies have chosen not to be seen to allow the Fleet to find Earth for them.

* To make his point further, Zee shows the leaders of the Fleet a video simulating a Cylon attack on Los Angeles. The conclusion is clear: at its present level of technology, the Earth will be of no assistance to defending the Fleet against the approaching Cylons.

* Dismayed by his ignorance in leading the Cylons to Earth, Adama orders pairs of warriors to contact key scientists with the various nations on Earth, to help them speed up the planet's technological capabilities.
* Two of the Colonials to be dispatched are Adama's grandson Captain Troy and Lieutenant Dillon, who are tasked with contacting scientists in the United States. Dillon asks about Troy's nickname, and Troy tells more about his late father and mother as Troy shows Dillon a picture of his family when Troy was a child.
* Adama briefs a gathering of what appear to be senior representatives of the Fleet about Earth, its solar system and habitable surface, including Quorum member Xaviar, who looks dismayed. The presentation, later led by Dr. Zee, discusses the Earth's comparatively limited technology as well as environmental problems. Throughout the presentation, Troy and Dillon quip about the strange things they see, unaware of Earth's serious limits. Dr. Zee shows the group his simulated Cylon attack, which greatly agitates the gathering.
* Xavier challenges Doctor Zee's conclusions on avoiding habitation of Earth by moving the Fleet away and hopefully drawing the Cylon's full attention from Earth as well. Zee proposes a slow approach to encourage introduction of Colonial technology through Earth scientists willing to work surreptitiously.
* Doctor Zee provides a team of Colonial Warriors with some gadgets to assist their infiltration efforts. One of the gadgets is an invisibility cloak that can render the warriors and their vehicles unseen. The warriors will be able to use turbines to get around on the surface, which are also able to fly, as well as stun weapons to incapacitate Earth humans without killing them.
* It is also noted that, in the lighter gravity of Earth, the Colonials will have the ability to leap to great heights.
* Each team will be spread about Earth's world populations to begin their mission. Troy and Dillon are headed for the United States, specifically, the Los Angeles area. Dillon laments that they didn't get Kip's pick to visit the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics as it sounded more enticing from a carousing perspective.
* Descending to the Earth in their Vipers, the U.S. Air Force detects the strange aircraft. Troy and Dillon are intercepted by Air Force fighters. As the fighters fire on the Vipers, they pull away easily and make a hasty landing in a field near Los Angeles.
* Hiding their ships with the invisibility screens, they take to their turbines, and shortly thereafter have a run in with a biker gang, which they escape through use of their turbines flying capabilities.
* Changing into contemporary clothes, Troy and Dillon stop at a service station to make a call to the scientist they are to contact, Dr. Donald Mortinson at the Pacific Institute of Technology.
* While attempting to use the phone, they run into Jamie Hamilton, who's on her way to L.A. for a job interview with the UBC television network. Hamilton watches the two try to gain currency to use the pay phone when she catches them in the act.
* When she learns that the duo is on their way to see the controversial Dr. Mortinson, who has developed a new form of nuclear technology, Hamilton offers to give them a lift to the Pacific Institute of Technology.
*Doctor Mortinson questions himself with his aide on whether the angry mob is truly ready or willing to accept the advanced technology. When the mobs start to throw rocks, Mortinson leaves to get someone to clean the mess.
* Pushing past anti-nuclear protesters at the campus and stunning a guard, Troy and Dillon reach Dr. Mortinson's lab. Mortinson is not present. His aide is incredulous at their supposed ability to comprehend his formulas. The aide secretly instructs the security guards by phone to arrive and soon arrest the two intruders.
* Before being hauled away by security, Troy and Dillon leave a complex math equation on Dr. Mortinson's computer as a way of verifying they are visitors from an advanced culture.
* Troy and Dillon are hauled off to jail.
* When Dr. Mortinson returns to his computer, astonished by what Troy and Dillon left there, he realizes that the only people capable of producing the modified formula he finds on the screen must be as important to mankind as "the coming of the Messiah".
* Hamilton, with her career at first looking dim, is contacted by Dr. Mortinson, who asks her to help him find Troy and Dillon. Spurred on by a job offer from the network producer, Brooks, Hamilton heads off to find Mortinson, who despises the media.
*During booking, Dorbin cannot make fingerprint records for the Warriors as they have no fingerprints. Other people are interested in the two, who are returned to their cell.
* Using their invisibility devices, Troy and Dillon activate their invisibility shields, causing another in the cell, Moran, to think he's losing his mind. As the cell is opened by Sergeant James, the two make their escape.
* Meanwhile, back in the field where they first arrived, the two Vipers suddenly shimmer back into view. A young boy, Willy Griffin is playing in the field with his dog, Skipper, when he stumbles upon the ships, which have run out of power to maintain their invisibility. He runs to inform his parents.

From Script to Screen
In the December 13, 1979 revision of the script for this episode, there are several noted differences:

* In 's opening monologue, during his mention of "too many of our sons and daughters" having not survived the journey, a mural of Apollo, Athena, Zac and Ila is called for, thus confirming that Athena is also dead.
* The first scene between Troy and Dillon is in the form of a day-down patrol, where both reflect on it being their last patrol. Further, Troy echoes the words from his late father made to the people on Terra in "Experiment in Terra": "The opposite of war isn't always peace. More often it's slavery."
* The dialogue between Dr. Zee and Adama regarding Earth's present state of development runs longer. Adama notes Zee's age (14) and after being told to send out the patrol beyond its usual range, issues a coded battle order to Troy and Dillon. This is called "Operation Caprica", and color-coded. Using turbo-thrusters, Troy and Dillon run into two Cylon Raiders, which they destroy before the Cylons can report that they've been compromised. Dillon and Troy return to the Fleet.
* After the two Air Force jets launch missiles at Troy and Dillon's Vipers, they avoid this by using their invisibility shield (referred to at this point in the script as a "force shield").
* Pilot #2 makes a crack about McDonell (sic) Douglas and Sperry Rand, two US defense contractors.
* The turbocycles as written are "something on the order of a motorcycle, but instead of wheels, it seems to be suspended on some kind of force field". This is what drives the cycles, which prompt the interest of Donzo and Willy.
* Dorothy Carlyle gives Donald Mortinson a neck massage; Mortinson agrees with the protesters on the fact that they've advanced their technology too fast.
* Dillon and Troy make it a point to hide their boots by pulling their pants over them.
* What later becomes the Pacific Institute of Technology is called the California Institute of Technology (Cal-Tech) in the script.
* Also, what is later called the United Broadcasting Company is called the Trans-World Broadcasting Company.
* Jamie Hamilton's conversation with Brooks's secretary shows us that the secretary is more amicable and understanding.
* Adama and Xaviar's conversation regarding time travel notes Xaviar's position on it more clearly, which Adama appears to respond more positively to. Xaviar posits that time travel doesn't adversely affect history. In his words:
*: How do we know it works that way? Maybe history isn't really changed. Maybe it all comes out the very same. Take, for example, the chance of birth. Whether your parents decide to journey from one place to another only dictates the environment in which you are born. The fact remains that you live. What difference whether we introduce marvels of science to primitive Earth...the same people will live to use them...only the quality of their lives will have changed.
* The cop, Dorbin, is referred to as "Doberman" in the script. This is also reflected on the name plate worn by the actor, suggesting that the name was changed during shooting.
* Hamilton forces her presence on Dillon and Troy at gunpoint—using Troy's laser to do so. With no choice on the matter, the Warriors agree to have Hamilton accompany them, which ends part 1.
* The sub-plot with Willie Griffin finding the Vipers in the field is not present.
* In Adama's speech to the Quorum of Twelve, he notes that Earth is the third planet of a system of nine planets. When the episode was written, the celestial body of Pluto was considered a full-fledged planet, but was reclassified in 2007. This same "mistake" is made in "The Long Patrol" and in countless other science fiction series of the past and present. As of this writing, the solar system is comprised of eight planets, 166 moons, and three dwarf planets, of which Pluto is now a part.

* According to publications at the time, the original airing of "Galactica Discovers Earth" had some of the highest ratings in the history of the franchise. The premiere episode, which aired Sunday, January 27th, 1980, ranked 30th for the week. The second and third episodes (aired February 3rd and 10th) also did well. . According to The "World Almanac and Book of Facts 1980", overall for the period that it was aired, Galactica 1980 ranked 20th out of 100 series in the Nielsen ratings.
* Dr. Zee's video screens show a series of shots from unusual public domain sources and from other Universal properties. This is supposed to resemble a smattering of US television images, and is a decidedly strange sequence, complete with eerie sound effects, which sets an odd tone early in the program. Among the images seen is Rod Serling in an introduction to the series Night Gallery, in addition to Woody Woodpecker.
* The simulated Cylon attack on Earth reuses footage from the movie Earthquake which was released by Universal Pictures in 1974, and also starred Lorne Greene (Commander Adama).
* The song playing in Jamie Hamilton's car when pulling up to the gas station is Billy Joel's "My Life", which makes a brief reappearance in "The Night the Cylons Landed, Part II".

Nods to a Past Incarnation
* This episode featured the last appearance of two robotic Muffit II-style daggits in the Original Series continuity, still apparently used as pets in the Fleet.
* When Troy and Dillon first take their Vipers into the Earth's atmosphere at the beginning of the episode, stock footage is used from "The Gun on Ice Planet Zero, Part I". As the Vipers fly by, a mountain is seen and the glare reflection off of the Ravashol pulsar is visible.
* The low-toned sounds coming from the computer monitor as Donald Mortinson turns it back on are the exact same sounds that are made when information is printed on the screens in a Viper's cockpit or on the bridge.

Other Trivialities
* In the 2009 Galactica 1980 comic series, issue #1 is titled Galactica Discovers Earth, an obvious nod to this episode. The comic reimagines the events of Galactica 1980.
* One of the bikers that threatens Troy and Dillon is played by Brion James, best-known for playing the replicant named Leon in the 1982 genre film Blade Runner (co-starring Edward James Olmos).

Analysis
* It is clearly apparent that neither Adama nor anyone else in the Fleet considered the ramifications of their flight to Earth: particularly when it concerns their essentially leading the Cylons to this planet.
* This episode directly deals with the (now proven incorrect) assumption that Earth is capable of repelling the Cylons. It should be noted that the Re-imagined Series also faces the same story flaw, which it has yet to address.
* Adama's comment that Earth's "proximity to the sun provides the only climate in the galaxy comfortably able to support life as we know it" is technically correct, in so far as the audience is concerned. In the story, however, this claim establishes that:
*# The Colonials are from outside the Milky Way and thus have some form of faster-than-light drive never fully shown in the series.
*# That the Milky Way Galaxy itself has no other planets that are capable of supporting human life, in so far as the Galacticans know it. However, this claim is contradicted by the presence of the planets of Paradeen and Terra, which is outside the Colonials' home galaxy and is in the Milky Way.
* Adama's indication that the polar ice caps and the deserts could "easily be reclaimed by our technology" points to the Colonials possessing some form of terra-forming technology.

Questions
* For all his intelligence, why didn't Doctor Zee forewarn Adama that he may be leading the Cylons to Earth before ever reaching it?
* What specifically happened to the characters of Apollo, Athena, and Sheba?
* How exactly did Troy & Dillon manage to extract change from the gas station pay phone utilizing its "Credit Card" function when pay phones with the ability to accept either credit or pre-paid cards wouldn't be created or commonly appear for well over a decade?
* Didn't Mortinson or his workers keep backups of their work in the event they were lost or vandalized?

Official Statements
Galactica 1980 story editors Allan Cole and Chris Bunch on why Galactica was resurrected:

Q: Where did Galactica 1980 come from?

Bunch: Well, this is only mildly classified, but nobody wanted to do Galactica 1980 except ABC. Battlestar Galactica had eaten the big green weenie (deservedly) and cost Universal a ton of money, with terrible ratings. Glen Larson, regardless of what you think of his writing ability, does try hard, and when something fails he wants to get away from it. It's been said he is the best salesman to ever pitch a TV series, but ten seconds after he sold it he should've been banned from writing any scripts to give his own show at least a struggling chance. Anyway, ABC, for some unknown reason, decided that it was worth trying again. Universal, who'd deficit-financed the first time around to some humongous degree, didn't want to go for it. ABC put pressure on, and they caved in. Then Universal put pressure on Larson, and he, in turn, caved in. Money Talks and Bullsh-- Walks, so here came Galactica once more, after Larson made those so wonderful revisions in the premise which guaranteed Galactica 1980 was even worse than its first incarnation.

Cole: Battlestar Galactica was the most expensive show ever done on television at the time. It was expensive and unsuccessful. And they had legal battles with George Lucas for obvious reasons. We thought they blew it as soon as they decided that Galactica arrives on Earth in 1980 - because nobody cares! When you're living in 1980 the science fiction element is lost and there are no big surprises. It was a fatal error.

Cole and Bunch on the network's required educational dialogue:

Q: Did you have problems with the censors since the show was on the "family hour" - Sundays at 7:00 P.M.?

Cole: The censors have their own ideas about what a child should see or should not see. We were told directly that a child cannot learn from their parents or their teachers, only from their peers.

Bunch: So all the schools in America can pack it in!

Cole: Censors are people with no imagination whatsoever. Everything has got to be plain as day. Network executives used to be creative. Nowadays the executives all come straight from Wall Street. When the censors demand something educational, they mean you have to stop the show and say something educational! There were a certain number of "educational beats" per episode and you had to count 'em. For instance in a car chase...

Bunch: "...I perceive that this vehicle is powered by an internal combustion engine, and an internal combustion engine, primitive though it is..." I'm not making this up!

Cole: We were given the job of putting in the educational beats in each script... which were all Larson's!

Bunch: He wasn't gonna do it! We suggested that they put an underrole on the screen saying "Why aren't you kids watching 60 Minutes?" They didn't think a whole lot of the idea!

Cole: So Glen's off in Hawaii writing scripts...

Bunch: And he'd call us up and say "What do you think?" And we'd say, "Dy-no-mite! Put that sucker through!"

Cole: We were rooting for the show to fail. We posted a sign that said "13" near the door of our trailer, meaning that when the show dropped to a 13 share we'd be free! They let it drop to a 9!

Cole and Bunch on working with the actors:

Q: Did you have much contact with the actors?

Bunch: Generally, the writer has minimal if any contact with actors. For instance, when we worked with Lorne Green on Code Putrid (Code Red), he came in and described his acting style to us. For instance he said, "When I lose my temper, I don't shout. I get cold and give dirty looks." That was an enormous help.

Cole: So anyway, we're watching dailies one day and the kid (Patrick Stuart - Dr. Zee) is sitting in his chair and Glen Larson is in the back saying, "What's wrong with his head? Why isn't he moving?" Well, you could see he was plainly terrified! And his lines were always addressing Adama. However, his voice was changing so he's saying in this girlish voice, "Adama! Adama!" It became a running gag between the two of us, (girlish voice) "Adama! Adama!" Why he got cast in that horrible part, I don't know.

Bunch: Why did anybody get cast in that horrible show?

Cole: Galactica 1980 was our first staff job and we received a memo which lists everyone in the crew. The stars, directors, producers. It's done in descending order of importance. Starting with Glen Larson...

Bunch: Then you get God!

Cole: Then you go all the way down the list. Down to the secretaries and the janitors. At the bottom of the list are the writers.

Bunch: We read this and said (sarcastically), "This is going to be a great experience!"

Q: Have you seen any of the cast since the cancellation?

Bunch: I wouldn't mind working with Kent McCord (Troy) again. He's a nice guy. He likes writers. He understands writers. Kent used to ask why the scripts were substandard, and we'd say "Babe, you go to Hawaii and talk to Larson!"

Allan Cole on why most of the actors from the original series did not return:

Everything came apart piece by piece as they moved toward the airdate. Partly this was because of the budget. For example, everyone thought Dirk Benedict was going to be a big star and so his price was set accordingly. Schedules conflicted. That sort of thing. One of the big problems when you cancel a show [like Galactica] and let everyone go home, when you look for [the original actors] again, they aren't likely to be available. All shows are shot pretty much during the same season. So the good people are usually working the closer you get to that time.

But there were even deadlier things at work -- such as the censor. Dirk Benedict smoked a cigar!!!! This is not good for the kiddies, the censor said. And the action on BG was too "gritty" for kids, they said. We want nice, clean-cut people. (One-Adam-12) And we want lots, and lots of kids. And so forth. The day I reported to work no one had the faintest idea what the series was going to be about. And it changed every day -- even while the scripts were being written. Major characters disappeared. New ones appeared. Then were gone again.

It was a real mess when we finally got on the air, and it never got better. We were rewriting on the set -- handing pages to the actors to memorize moments before the scenes were shot.

The network never really liked the [time travel] idea. They didn't get it. For budget reasons there was also a mad scramble to find footage of old sword and sandle movies. So they could piece in things like the Trojan War, or whatever. But when the network censor saw those scenes, with blood all over the place, they freaked big time!

Cole and Bunch on how they got involved with the show:

Bunch: After the pilot was produced, we sold a script called Earthquake over the phone to Jeff Freilich, when he called us to see if we had anything the day he started on the show, and we came up with some fast buzzy-wuzzy crap that might convince him to Give Us Money. Something to do with earthquakes. So he says we have a deal, come on out and let's work the details out. We jumped in the car, with nada in the way of a plot, and Thought Fast. About the time we got off the freeway, we had a couple of vague ideas to flesh out our first dumb sentence.

The first draft of the script featured Xaviar, but then it was decided that they weren't going to use Xaviar anymore, which creates a small credibility problem, like we don't believe anybody but a Major Bad Guy can create an earthquake and he better have himself a Fiendish Thingie. We reworked the script and came up with Nutball Hargreaves, underground nuclear tests, roboticized security and the rest is (isn't) film history.

Cole: Anyway, we were blackmailed by Peter Thompson, the honcho at Universal into becoming story editors on the show. We didn't want to do it because we made more money freelancing. Thompson said we'd never work at Universal again unless we took the job.

Bunch: Interesting thing is that we wrote for just about every Larson show going as freelancers, and worked for him for ten weeks, but we never met Glen. Which is true to this day. Now, ain't it odd for a producer to hire a couple of supposedly talented story editors and not ever want to say hello?

Cole: We think of him fondly because he's paid us so much money.

Noteworthy Dialogue
* Troy and Dillon comment on the smog hanging over Los Angeles, California:
: Dillon: What's that odd-looking brown haze hanging over the city?
: Troy: (shrugs) Must be some sort of defense shield.

* Troy and Dillon make a comment about the automobiles:
: Dillon: Those automobiles sure don't move very fast.
: Troy: No, but it's a nice, neat formation. It must require a lot of practice and discipline.

* Adama makes a comment that suggests the the Earth's galaxy is lifeless, seemingly implying that the Colonials come from another galaxy. The Colonials also seem puzzled by the Earth's large oceans (do the Twelve Colonies lack large bodies of water?):
: Adama: (Earth's) proximity to the Sun provides the only climate of the galaxy comfortably able to support life as we know it. Seven tenths of the Earth is covered with water, however, there is plenty of room for all our people.

* Adama talks to Troy about Earth's government:
: Adama: Boxey, the cold, hard truth is that there is no central government on Earth. There's no single leader with whom we can make contact or negotiate.
: Troy: Well, that's impossible. Then how do they get together for their common good?
: Adama: They don't, as far as we can tell.

Audrey Landers (born July 18, 1956) is an American actress, singer, songwriter and producer. To television audiences, she is best known for her role as Afton Cooper in the 1980s series Dallas, as well as various appearances in series from the late 1970s to the 1980s, including Battlestar Galactica.

Her younger sister, Judy Landers, is also a well-known actress who worked on Vega$ and the Glen Larson series B.J. and the Bear. Due to their close-knit nature, both Audrey and Judy Landers were often the combined focus of various news publication articles of the 1970s and 1980s, notably the January 1983 issue of Playboy magazine, a non-nude pictorial in which both Landers sisters appear in lingerie.

Biography
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Landers and her sister Judy were raised solely by their mother, Ruth, after their father "drifted away". Ruth Landers, a professional model at the time, subsequently relocated herself and her family to Rockland County, New York

At age 12, Landers assembled a demo tape of "The Apple Don't Fall Far From the Tree", which Landers' wrote, and sent it to Merv Griffin. This demo tape landed her an appearance on The Merv Griffin Show and an agent, although her mother still retained her status as Landers' manager. The aforementioned song also became a well-played, popular Country/Western single, which began a career that would result in 10 gold singles, 4 gold albums, and 2 platinum albums. None of which have been officially released in the United States

At 13, Landers auditioned for, and landed, a role on the daytime drama, The Secret Storm. Later on in 1974, she starred in the daytime soap, Somerset.

During her tenure at soaps, she participated in an accelerated program with advanced courses at Ramapo High School, where she maintained a straight-A average and graduated early, before the age of 17, despite the demands from both the soaps and schooling. After graduating, Landers studied music composition at the Juilliard School in New York. She later majored in psychology at Columbia University, as well as earned a degree in pre-medicine. Despite this, she found that she was happier performing. Between both daytime dramas, which were filmed in New York, she took the summer off in 1973 for nearly four months to guest star on various television series, including Emergency! (which starred fellow BSG guest star, Randolph Mantooth) and Marcus Welby, M.D..

After completing Somerset in 1976, she moved to Los Angeles, California, and continued her guest starring career, which included Police Woman, Happy Days, Battlestar Galactica (as Miri in "The Young Lords"), and Charlie's Angels (which starred Cheryl Ladd). On these appearances, she lamented that "[t]he parts I was getting were nice, but nothing heavy.
In 1981, while being managed by Stuart Ehrlich, she auditioned for the role of Afton Cooper on Dallas, which she later won in a competition that she recalled as being fierce. The role of Afton Cooper was originally a two-episode guest starring role, which was upgraded to a recurring role after she completed her first episode on the series. Despite her successful career at that point, she was propelled in the world spotlight due to this role, which she wished to use to further her singing career. It was Dallas that began her singing career in Europe, where she would travel back and forth between filming Dallas and performing in various shows. During this time, she made various appearances on Fantasy Island, as well as The Love Boat along with her sister, Judy. Outside of acting, she pursued various interests, spanning from donating time to charities to writing poetry, as well as songwriting.

During the seventh year of Dallas, she took a leave of absence (which lasted until her character of Afton Cooper was re-written into the series for its last season in 1989) to film Sir Richard Attenborough's A Chorus Line, which took over a year to film and starred Michael Douglas. For the movie, which fared better overseas than in the United States, she rigorously trained for the role, which Attenborough himself commented on in interviews. According to Landers, "He [Attenborough] always said in interviews that I wore out 2 dance coaches because I'd go in 3 hours before everybody came to work in the morning at 9 AM in the morning. Then I'd stay an additional 3 hours after everyone went home at night at 6 PM. So I had 6 hours of additional dance training a day." After training for months, the movie took five months to film, and was shot entirely in New York's Mark Hellinger Theatre.

In 1983, both Audrey and Judy Landers posed for Playboy magazine's January 1983 issue in a non-nude pictorial. Initially, Playboy approached the Landers sisters for a paid nude pictorial, but opted for a non-nude pictorial, as Audrey Landers explains: "It was really a coup for us. They offered to do a 'sister pictorial layout' for a tremendous amount of money – with nudity. But we told them we didn’t want to do that. So, instead, we ended up doing the photo session with no nudity and no money. We wanted to do something that was in the glamorous style of the 1940s that left a little to the imagination. At that time, there were only two or three women who had been on the cover of Playboy with a pictorial inside the magazine with no nudity."

Additionally, Landers notes that: "We were basically playing very young roles. We thought it would make people take us more seriously as mature women and it didn't do anything. It didn't do anything good and it didn't do anything bad. We did have a bunch of people who hadn't seen the article offer us a slew of movies with nudity which we wouldn't do anyway. It certainly didn't hurt our careers. To this day I love it. I think it's a beautiful layout. I'm glad we did it. It's a nice piece of memorabilia."

Prior to rejoining Dallas for its final season, she married Donald Berkowitz in 1988, after her mother introduced the two to each other in the mid 1980s. She and Berkowitz, who worked out of New Jersey in a paper distribution company, later had two twin boys via in vitro fertilization, Adam and Daniel.

After Dallas ended in 1989, Landers worked with her sister, Judy, and her mother, Ruth, in producing, creating and acting in made-for-television movies, such as 1989's Ghost Writer and 1991's California Casanova, both produced by Landers' production company. After a short stint on One Life to Live from 1990 to 1991, in which Landers had a hand in creating the character of Charlotte Hesser, Landers and her fellow family members would write and produce The Huggabug Club, an award winning children's series on PBS, which starred both Audrey and Judy Landers, as well as Judy Landers' two daughters, Lindsey and Kristy Landers. The series ran from 1995 to 2001.

In 2007, Landers appeared on the USA series Burn Notice for a three episode stint as Veronica.

Commander Kronus is a highly distinguished, career Colonial Military officer who previously commanded the battlestar Rycon and over 600 offensive-capable spacecraft that comprised of the Fourth Fleet. Under his command, he thwarted a major Cylon offensive at the Battle of Cosmora Archipelago, despite injury and massive suffering. Sometime after the engagement, Adama was his aide; Kronus later remarked that the previous relationship between himself and Adama was better than the one shared after the flight from the Twelve Colonies.

Kronus had retired sometime before the pseudo-peace talks ended up in the wholesale slaughter of the Human race, but was returned to active duty to command the electronics ship Celestra. During the flight to the legendary thirteenth colony, Earth, Adama awards Kronus the Distinguished Service Medallion at a ceremony on Galactica and the Quorum awards him a Star of Kobol and command of two additional industrial ships -- the parts and textile ships. He retains personal command of the Celestra much to the disgust to his XO Charka, for he feels that Charka was not ready for command. Apparently, despite his grievances with the Fleet -- which he calls a convoy -- he also follows his duties, and is a strict officer who hasn't lost touch despite his age. He is also quite confident in the crew of the Celestra, despite these crewmembers being civilian.

When a mutiny orchestrated by Damon breaks out and is subsequently quelled, Kronus follows procedure to the letter and decides to press charges in person. Charka, with the help of his accomplices (including Hermes), almost manage to send Kronus to his death. However with the help of the mutineers and the Warriors, they manage to sneak into the Celestra and wrest control of it from the traitor.

Regrettably, one of the finest military commanders that ever lived is killed at Charka's hand in the act of regaining control of the Celestra. He is committed into the realms of space, where he thrived, as the Fleet mourns his death just soon after they celebrated him Take the Celestra.

Notes
* It is interesting that, in spite of Kronus' stringent observation of military methods and discipline, he would commit a military discipline faux pas by telling his personal opinions of the Fleet and Adama in front of subordinates, especially while on duty, and that he was unaware that a quick search and strike mission didn't permit Warriors to sort out the aggressors from the bystanders.
Charka is the executive officer of the electronics ship Celestra.

Charka knows how to play all the sides, and is knowledgeable in being a manipulative artist as he vies for command of the ship. He presumes he would be able to command the Celestra, with Commander Kronus commanding three other ships as well, however Kronus thinks otherwise and still retains command of the ship.

After a thwarted mutiny lead by Damon, Charka begins plotting a way to easily remove Kronus from command and sends the Colonial Shuttle, along with Apollo, Starbuck, and the mutineers, away from The Fleet.

Of course, he provoked the mutiny by working the crew on 16 centar shifts, little relax time, and restricting the crew's ability to travel throughout the Fleet. He sends faulty coordinates for the Fleet to the shuttle, and waits until the ship is out of range, hoping that Kronus' death would allow his ascension to commander of the Celestra.

However, thanks to the efforts of the Warriors and mutineers, Charka is in for a surprise. The ship is taken from him, and he is arrested for attempts to mutiny against his commander and for murdering him Take the Celestra.

Notes
* Warriors Starbuck and Apollo note that the penalty for mutiny was at least 30 yahren. However, we can presume that he also is convicted of killing his commanding officer, and thus is sentenced to life imprisonment (As stated in the episode "Murder on the Rising Star").
Aurora is a past romantic interest of Starbuck's. Starbuck assumes that Aurora was killed on Caprica during the Cylon Attack. Much to his surprise however, Aurora has been working on the electronics ship, Celestra, and has been listed in the Fleet's Computers as a shuttle pilot for Commander Kronus. When he attempts to reacquaint himself with her, she blows him off, correctly stating that if he had cared enough, he could have found her via the Fleet's Computers.

During the award ceremonies, Aurora gathers navigational information from Galactica on a nearby planet located somewhere in Beta Sector so that she and her fellow mutineers, lead by her lover Damon, may settle there away from the Fleet. The impetus for this mutiny lie in the oppressive conditions imposed by Celestra's XO, Charka.

When Starbuck and Apollo just happen to thwart this mutiny, Kronus elects to take her and her compatriots to Galactica to personally oversee the dispensation of consequences. En route, however, the mutineers claim that they mutinied against him because of the oppressive conditions imposed upon them by Charka; they assumed he did so by Kronus' blessing.

When the guidance feed from the Celestra is terminated purposely (thus proving Charka's involvement), leaving the shuttle out into space unguided, the mutineers barter a deal: in exchange for a fair trial, they would enhance the sensors of the shuttle so they would be sensitive enough to detect the Celestra's low power emissions.

During the endeavor, Damon has doubts as to whether or not Aurora would ever be satisfied with him. However, Starbuck convinces him that he is no obstacle between them, thus receiving her appreciation.
The Supreme Commandant is the military and civilian leader of the fascist Eastern Alliance of Terra.

Under his leadership, the Eastern Alliance subjugated many of Terra's colonies and exterminated life on at least one planet, Paradeen Greetings from Earth.

As part of a decisive strike against the Nationalists, he lead its' president, Arends, to believe that he wanted peace, going as so far as to sign a treaty to that effect. The treaty was dismissed and plotted a massive strike which would annihilate the Nationalists and those within the Alliance's own borders who were undesired. Those extremely loyal to the cause were provided with underground bunkers to survive any retailiatory attacks prior to the strike.

The Commandant's strike was thwarted by the battlestar Galactica, forcing the Commandant to consider the peace treaty Experiment in Terra.

John is a so-called "Being of Light".

He informs Apollo of the situation on Terra, hoping that Apollo will be able to resolve it peacefully. John's chief concern was that any outcome concerning the planet will have drastic intergalactic consequences. Although the consequences aren't stated, it is presumed that the Terrans are instrumental in some sort of long-term plan.

John tells Apollo that his "physical appearance" was a reflection of intelligence (i.e., spirit), and that he could do nothing outside the colossus (presumably, the Ship of Lights itself. As such, Apollo's assistance is needed. John, like any other Being, apparently could cause memory blocks and unblock them, as well as work through them by giving them a protective aura. He also comments on the fact that he needed humor in order to communicate with other "primitive" races.

In the apartment of Brenda Maxwell, Apollo speaks to John, who can't be heard or seen by anyone else. Under the guise of Charlie Watts, Apollo appears to be somewhat mentally unstable.

John is instrumental in also recruiting Starbuck, who could hear him, but only see him after John gives him the protective aura. John then presumably talks to the Beings of Light by looking up in the sky, saying, "It's the best I can do with the material I've got. They're primitives!"

Ironically, John's objectives for Apollo to solve the Terran situation peaceably fail. Galactica's intervention forces the Eastern Alliance to accept the peace accord from the Nationalists. John does admit, however, after some pestering from Apollo, that Terra isn't Earth and that they still had a long, interesting journey ahead of them Experiment in Terra.

Notes
*Evidently, the John character goes against the pre-established information given in "War of the Gods", for Iblis had a physical body outside of any Ship of Lights or anything remotely similar. This being the case, either John was lying or the Beings that are inclined to pure good do not have the capacity of a "physical" body outside of the Ship of Lights.

*Additionally, it is interesting that Starbuck managed to hear John, albeit unable to see him until John touched him. (Indeed, John touched Starbuck within the physical laws of the Universe, as Starbuck reacted to it.) Disproving yet again that he (and presumably other Beings of Light) can attempt some form of physical contact, at least on some level. Although Starbuck's past experience (War of the Gods) with the Beings may have something to do with it.

*Actor Edward Mulhare went on to co-star in a more successful Glen A. Larson TV series Knight Rider.

*It is noteworthy that one of the writers of Battlestar Galactica, Donald P. Bellisario, would notably use the basic theme of the episode "Experiment in Terra" again. He put the hero in the guise of a local accompanied by a "holographic" companion that no one could see in the 1989 television show Quantum Leap.

President Arends is the leader of the Nationalist party on planet Terra who vies for peace with the fascist Eastern Alliance that propagated the Lunar Colonies. Extremely over-zealous and paranoid in how he conducts efforts of hammering out a peace treaty beneficial for sides, Arends has both military and government supporters suppress information from the general population and other members of the government -- such as Paradeen's destruction by Alliance hands and the takeover the Lunar Colonies.

When his assistant, Moore, informs him of the return of Charlie Watts (Apollo, actually) and the two unidentified blips (Viper), Arends orders Brace and his men to apprehend anyone who has been in contact with him or has knowledge about Watts' return. He also stresses the importance of the peace treaty and doesn't trust the Nationalist Precedium for they were, in his words, "war mongrels".

Later having been freed by Starbuck, General Maxwell and Apollo attempt to convince the Precedium of Arends' actions and that they must maintain peace. Maxwell manages to convince Arends that the Alliance would do anything for total domination.

Unfortunately, in order to enforce the peace treaty, Galactica has to intercept all the nuclear missiles coming to and from Terra. Arends begins to realize the error in his ways and, along with Maxwell, attempts to gain military and technological secrets from Apollo, who disappears at John's whim (Experiment in Terra).

Maxwell first meets Apollo (who appeared to be Charlie), under the impression that she was phoned. She picks up "Charlie", who appeared to be downright confused (obviously, as Apollo knew nothing of Terra), and takes him back to her apartment. During the initial conversation, Apollo is so disoriented and doesn't pick up on her remark about him having amnesia; he believes it to be her name.
Concerned about Charlie, Maxwell contacts the Nationalist Security force, where officer Brace then takes Apollo. Her father later comes to her, lambasting her for her involvement with "Charlie." However, they, too, are taken to the Nationalist government building.
Starbuck has Maxwell drive him to the site where he landed, aiming to prove that they are indeed "extraterrestrial." Despite managing to find the Viper, almost before it was too late, Maxwell couldn't believe that the story is true (TOS: "Experiment in Terra:).
:The mysterious bright lights return again, transporting the bewildered Apollo to the planet Terra to avert war with the Eastern Alliance. Exposing a plan by the devious president, Apollo has Starbuck warn Galactica, which lends the protective powers of its shields to avoid planetary holocaust.

Summary
*While on a recon patrol with Blue Squadron searching for an Eastern Alliance destroyer, Captain Apollo's Viper is again waylaid by the Beings of Light and brought aboard their ship.

*There he is told by John that he needs to help Terra and stop a war. Due to their lack of a substantive, corporeal form, they are unable to affect changes without need of a proxy (what Apollo sees is a projection or representation of their spirit). Apollo is also told by John that to the Terrans he will appear to be a missing warrior named Colonel Charlie Watts, to allow him some credibility during his attempts. After this encounter, Apollo wakes up near Terra, an incredible distance from his previous position, and well outside the Vipers' fuel range for a safe return to Galactica.

*Starbuck and Boomer detect Apollo's distress signal at extreme range. Starbuck goes to help Apollo, while Boomer returns to Galactica.

*Apollo is picked up after landing on Terra by Brenda Maxwell who was Charlie Watts' girlfriend and they return to her apartment. John again appears to Apollo and advises him he needs to reveal the truth about Lunar One. Whilst he is doing so, Brenda notifies the authorities of "Charlie's" return, believing him to need medical attention. Soon Officer Brace arrives and Apollo is taken into custody, and subsequently examined by Doctor Horning.

*Back on Galactica Commander Adama decides that the battlestar will temporarily leave the fleet to investigate the beacon signal sent by both Apollo and Starbuck's Viper's, leaving behind two full squadrons of fighters to protect the civilians.

*Starbuck, having landed and found Apollo's Viper, gets into a gun fight with the local security force, stunning them all. He then sets off to find Apollo.

*After a brief discussion with John, Starbuck rescues Apollo, Brenda and her father General Maxwell who have just been imprisoned by Brace for questioning the Nationalist President's decisions regarding the Eastern Alliance. Brenda and General Maxwell realise what Apollo has been saying is true... he is not Charlie Watts.

*The Leaders of the Eastern Alliance confirm their plans to launch a surprise attack on the Nationalists whilst at the same time, in the Nationalist Precedium, The President announces that a peace agreement with the Eastern Alliance has just been reached. Starbuck and Brenda Maxwell leave to retrieve Starbuck's Viper.

*The attack is begun, the Nationalist's missiles being automatically launched after detection of the Eastern Alliance's surprise move. Galactica arrives, and following Starbuck's instructions uses its weapons to destroy all missiles from both sides. This surprise turn of events forces the Eastern Alliance to sue for peace.

*John spirits Apollo away from he Precedium so he does not have to answer any questions from the President and General Maxwell. John then goes on to confirm to Apollo that Terra is not Earth, and their search for the Thirteenth Tribe will continue.

Adama's Notes
It is now seven sectars since the escape of our captives, numbering amongst them, a group of Nomen and the dangerous soldiers from the Eastern Alliance, whose ominous destroyers apparently cruise these skies in search of any opposition to their political will. I have a recon patrol launched to track the escaping destroyer to its base on Lunar Seven. Once located, we can assess the strength of the Alliance on the outpost and determine our next step.

Notes
* The episode's title was derived from the 1962 film Experiment In Terror.
* An extended version of this episode was made into a television movie with the same title.
* Many fans have speculated that this episode was the inspiration for Quantum Leap, created by Donald P. Bellisario who was a writer for Galactica. When Apollo "leaps" into the life of Charlie Watts, you would have to think this gave Bellisario a few ideas. Interestingly, Bellisario was asked about this in an on-line interview and he said it is not true and that he can't even remember what Experiment In Terra was about. Considering the amazing similarities between the two, it's almost hard to believe him.
* John reveals that Terra is not Earth.
* Apollo's speech to the Precidium could be called "The Battlestar Galactica Thesis" since his argument of peace through strength pretty much sums up the stance of the entire series.
* This script was actually written with the parts of Starbuck and Apollo reversed, but was changed when Richard Hatch complained that Apollo was being deemphasized in favor of Starbuck. To Hatch’s surprise the script was hastily rewritten. The dialogue stayed mostly intact, which resulted in Apollo talking in a way that sounds suspiciously like Starbuck. The differences are subtle, but they are noticeable if you listen closely enough. Apollo actually says "felgercarb", a word he has never said before.
*The Presidium on Terra was the French pavilion left over from Expo '67. It is one of the few buildings from the fair still standing. It is now Le Casino de Montréal.
*The same stock shot of Le Casino de Montréal in this episode appears to also have been used for the Earth Defense Directorate on Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.
*Adama misuses the word "sectar" as a measurement of time; an earlier episode notes that it is a unit of distance. The word that the writer of this episode may have wanted to use either centar (an hour) or secton (a week).
*Some scenes of this episode were filmed at night at the Vasquez Rocks, notably the scene where Starbuck lands his Viper on Terra.
*"Charlie Watts" is also the name of the drummer for the British rock group The Rolling Stones. It is rumored but unconfirmed that Larsen had the character named after Watts as a tribute to his reportedly being a fan of the show.citation needed
*The "white uniforms" were reused in Galactica 1980 as part of the "time travel" effect employed in the series.
* In the 2009 Galactica 1980 comic series, issue #3 is titled Experiment In Terra, an obvious nod to this episode.
* This episode reveals that a Colonial laser is capable of stunning a group of people with a single shot.
* Edward Mulhare (John) is best known for his role as Devon on Knight Rider and the title character of the 1966 sitcom The Ghost And Mrs. Muir where he also played a spectral figure who could only be seen by a certain few.
* Kenneth Lynch (Dr. Gordon) played Grover in Galactica 1980 episode The Night the Cylons Landed, Part II.
* One of the buildings in the Terran city was later used as the exterior of the Defense Directorate in Buck Rogers. The actual building is in Montreal, Canada.
* John deLancie (Q from Star Trek: The Next Generation) appears as the Terran officer who approaches Starbuck's viper with a troop of soldiers. The scene occurs at Vaquez Rocks, an overexposed TV and film location because it has been frequently used to double as other worlds.
* The Eastern Alliance in this episode seems very similar to the stereotypical image Americans held of the Soviet Union during the Cold War era. Interestingly enough, the Soviet Union issued a protest over Battlestar Galactica, claiming the series promoted false stereotypical notions that hurt the Soviet Union's image.

Analysis
* "Experiment in Terra" finishes off the arc started with "Greetings from Earth". It also serves as the last time the Beings of Light are seen in the entire series run, though this element will be reintroduced in "The Return of Starbuck", the final episode of Galactica 1980.
* Many of the plot elements introduced in "Greetings from Earth" are closed in the episode, prime among them being the question of whether Terra is indeed the Thirteenth Colony. However, the Lunar Colonies mentioned in both this episode and "Greetings" are never seen. The conditions on the Lunar Colonies, now apparently controlled by the Eastern Alliance, are merely word-of-mouth, forcing the viewer to presume much of what has happened on these Lunar settlements. Of course, the plight of these Colonies, from where Michael and Sarah Fowler (and children) came, is seemingly written as an afterthought.
* Much of the episode is an allegory of the Cold War, with fascism taking the place of Communism in the form of the Eastern Alliance.
* This episode also reintroduces the concept of governmental authority as horribly flawed and inept, a recurring theme that has stuck with the series since "Saga of a Star World" and the episodes that have dealt with the Quorum of Twelve. Interestingly enough, this theme has been running through the entire arc, from the Quorum's handling of affairs in "Greetings" to their removal of martial law (and diminishing Adama's authority) in "Baltar's Escape". As was the case in both episodes, it takes Adama and the Warriors under his command to correct the errors in judgment, thus reinstilling the message that a strong military authority can right the wrongs of government.
* The teasing in the series thus far has reinforced the fact that there is, indeed, another group of humans in the galaxy. Whether these humans are descendants of the Thirteenth Tribe that left Kobol ages ago is still very much in question, though it is something that viewers are to assume.
*It is noteworthy that one of the writers of Battlestar Galactica, Donald P. Bellisario, would notably use the basic theme of this episode of putting the hero in the guise of a local accompanied by a "holographic" companion that no one could see again in the 1989 television show Quantum Leap. The similarities are quite obvious, especially given the Bellisario connection.

Questions
* If the beings on the Ship of Lights were willing to interfere and save the planet Terra from destruction, then why didn't they interfere to prevent the destruction of the Colonies?
*Why do the Beings of Light need proxies to do their bidding? Surely an advanced race would have resolved a more elegant solution than co-opting "primitives" for their needs?
*Bearing in mind the interest the Beings of Light had with the Terrans, did the Beings of Light share this same interest and concern in the Colonials before or during the Thousand-Yahren War?
*Why does Galactica leave the Fleet defenseless to protect Terra, particularly in lieu of Adama's comments in "The Living Legend", where Adama voices opposition to attacking Gamoray because it would leave the Fleet defenseless from a Cylon killing force?
*Are the Cylons still pursuing the Fleet? If they are, will they too happen across Terra and likely destroy that civilization?
*Why did John give Apollo the guise of Charlie Watts when Apollo immediately dumps this persona and introduces himself as Captain Apollo anyway? He then even tells the Precedium all about the Colonies but then is told to not say a word at the end to the leaders. Was this a writing mishap?

Bloopers
* Starbuck enters the prison complex with his gun drawn, yet when we see him inside the building in the very next shot, his gun is in his holster. It is not until he sees the guards that he draws the gun again. Why would Starbuck put his gun back in his holster when he knew he'd have to use it?

* Starbuck is miles away from his viper helmet when John causes his uniform to turn white, yet when Starbuck returns to his viper, his helmet is white.

* After Starbuck stuns the group of Terran soldiers, he leaves them there unconscious. When he returns later, they are gone. Where did they go? If they regained consciousness, wouldn't they have confiscated the vipers?

Noteworthy Dialogue
* Apollo asks Brenda Maxwell for her name after she picks him up on Terra:
: Apollo: What was your name?
: Brenda Maxwell: [remarking on "Charlie Watts's" state] Amnesia.
: Apollo: Amnesia. That's a pretty name.

* Apollo reflects on John's sense of humor:
: Apollo: That's very funny. At least you have a sense of humor.
: John: In my job, dealing with primitive cultures, it's an absolute necessity.

* Upon learning that the Vipers are transmitting emergency beacons near Terra:
:Adama: Tigh, plot a course for Terra.
:Tigh: What velocity, sir?
:Adama: Lightspeed.
:Tigh: Sir, it has been some time since Galactica has been pushed to—
:Adama: Lightspeed, Colonel.
:Tigh: Yes, sir.

* Upon learning the Eastern Alliance has launched a nuclear attack:
:President Arends: Well uh ... that's impossible. I have this treaty ...
:General Maxwell: Well frame it! But hurry!
* Richard Hatch discusses his "Starbuck"-esque role in this episode:
: Richard Hatch: One of the biggest, well, kind of practical jokes was, there was an episode written for [[Dirk Benedict|Dirk [Benedict]]], and I got the episode and I…I was a little upset. I felt they were, you know, knocking Captain Apollo. I felt they were really pushing him aside and I said, I think it’s time that HE had a story, that you did something for this character rather than just letting him give orders and go march around the ship. So he, [[Glen A. Larson|Glen [Larson]]] said, you’re right, we really should, we need a story with Captain Apollo going down to HIS planet. So, about two hours later, the script I’d had, featuring Dirk, arrived at my house, and it had been…the two characters of Captain Apollo and Starbuck were simply interchanged, they’d put my name where Starbuck was and put Starbuck where Apollo was. And I immediately got into the car and was seeking out Dirk to apologize, because I simply had no idea, I thought, down the road, the next story, maybe a couple of stories later he’d write one for Captain Apollo. He didn’t do that, he just took the very story that had probably been in Dirk’s hands, he’d been going “what a wonderful script I have here!” and two hours later he gets a script where he was now Captain Apollo and I’m Starbuck and literally he has not changed any lines. In any case I was very embarrassed and I found him at a party and I explained the whole situation to him and how sorry I was and he said, well, I understand, I just think you should go to Glen Larson and ask him to reverse it, put it back the other way. So I tried to find Glen Larson, and I told him, I appreciate the gesture, but the next time will you be a little more subtle? Sometimes you want to expand your character, you want to bring in new dimensions to the character and they gave Captain Apollo the chance to do a few things that he didn’t normally do on that show because, as you all know, Starbuck got to run around and have fun with the ladies and Captain Apollo…kind of had fun with himself…and from that time on they actually began to change, not change the characters, but to give Starbuck a little bit of the Captain Apollo quality and Captain Apollo a little bit of the Starbuck qualities, and they started to make the characters more well-rounded, and I appreciated that.
