OK. The purpose of a talk page is for ''brief'' discussions and questions about the article. Generally, the humorous "predictions" in other talk pages have not detracted from the talk page's purpose or grown in size, and honestly have given me a chuckle, although my feelings on the matter aren't the sole vote about it. Provided that we don't get into numerous predictions from many users to the talk page in some way, I don't see a problem with it at this time. If there's still a problem about it, a silly page could have a bulleted series of such humor if approved by consensus (although I doubt this would work, [[BW:NOT|we're not a forum]]). Sometimes, predictions are fun ''and'' on-topic: See [[Talk:Exodus, Part II]] where I made a good guess. Now, what's considered "funny" is very subjective. I don't think BB's jest is nearly as humorous as, say, the shining white Final Five being revealed as the ''Jackson Five'' or something. Jokes are OK. If it's a bad one, ignore the poster. ==Predictions-part 2==

I was surfing on the internet, trying to find some spoilers (lol) for the 3rd season finale, and came across this baby: http://www.thetvremote.com/battlestar-galactica-season-finale-spoilers/ (huge spoilers, so don t go there if u don t wanna read em). So, the text reveals who are the 4 of the final 5. As we already know, without the websites help, some of the final five are living and working in the colonial fleet. The 4 that are in question have a past, and we even saw a few times their memories, and we know that they lived in the colonies for quite some time. That being said, the website isn’t really convincing. But then, we know that the final five are special. We don t know what they are, we could suppose that they are more than the other cylon models, much more. We could even think that they are some sort of gods, now that too being said, I can t help but to think that those final 5, being special could have been planted in the colonies before the attacks of the miniseries. There is also a thing about Starbuck and a thing about finding earth on the website. I don t know what are their sources but the text seems very interesting and gives some very interesting ideas. {{unsigned|DedMed}}

I'm sorry I can't resist posting again. Ok, the final Five, as I stated are not Cylons but are a third faction, some ancient group probably five prophets who orchestrated all of this. It's the only way I can deal with this: I will not be happy if certain persons are in actuality certain entities. I guess the Caprica TV show will possibly delve into it... but dammit, that show better be frakking good. No offense, but I do believe we have enough reason to totally disregard that conclusion. Firstly, and might I add, perfectly timed, the main page has a link to "Who is a cylon", with a website, blog, and a nice canon explanation of who is and likely is not a Cylon. Saul Tigh... Whom I call "The Tigh Dog"... but who is known also as "The Tigh Fighter" (YES!) can't possibly BE a cylon. And why? Just as I stated, he's been known by Adama for too long (at least prior to the FIRST war). Second, this leads to my speculation from the talk on Crossroads Part 1... Even if these guys are the Final Five... they still aren't cylons. The Final Five are not Cylons. That's what I have been suspecting ever since the Oracle gave prophecy to Biers... ever since The Hybrid gave prophecy to Baltar. That's when I remembered Shelly from "Six Degrees of Seperation". Tigh is so not a cylon. If Tigh is a cylon... I mean really a cylon... this show has jumped the shark. Yes I'm sure they THINK they are Cylons, just like the Cylons THINK the final five are Cylons. But Tigh is not a Cylon. As far as the Final five go, maybe he is, maybe not. The Final Five are perhaps a third... NON CYLON... faction, closely related to the oracles, the prophecies, and what not. Aw, come on guys. Firstly, you're buying into the notion that the Cylons are nearly omniscent. Isn't it probable that the Cylons themselves have been mislead? In addition, this stuff about Cylon models being created thousands of years ago makes no sense. There are only 12 models they know of. The encephalitus disease that knocked out a whole basestar of Cylons should debunk that long shot. If we are going to split hairs on what a Cylon is... then we need to reconsider who created them in the first place. I believe the 13th tribe left a faction, most likely the priesthood, behind. That priesthood wanted to fulfill some destiny or resolve some unresolved issue in the distant future and they were the invisible hand behind the first cylon war and the cause behind the Cylon visions (projections), the cylon rebirthing, and other spriritual technologies the Cylons have. In addition I believe the final five are actually the original five prophets that the Cylons mistakenly believe are "cylons". Even if I am wrong about that, to simply dismiss Tigh as a Cylon for the reasons above makes no sense. I bet during the fourth season the so called "revelation" that Tigh, Anders, and the others being cylons will turn out to be a Cylon (or Prophetic) hoax. And this... is where I think Six Degrees of Seperation will play a role. "What happened to Shelly"? She never really left, she has been manipulating things on the ship. Here is my theory on the whole "Tigh is a Cylon" thing, Tigh (and the others) are NOT the Final Five Cylons (they will initally think that they are but are mistaken). They will discover that they are descendants of the Final Five models who intermarried with humans back on Kobol and that the "Final Five" were the first cylons who were created by "the Jealous God" (who is also the God worshiped by The Seven we have seen so far). Which will still leave room for Starbuck to be one of the Final Five. I have to admit that a lot of this is comming just from instinct and my imagination but it would make a lot more sense than Tigh being a Cylon since from what we have already heard that the Cylons are immortal (and is safe to assume that they DO NOT AGE, which Tigh would have done since the First Cylon War 40 years ago). ==Predictions-part 2==

I was surfing on the internet, trying to find some spoilers (lol) for the 3rd season finale, and came across this baby: http://www.thetvremote.com/battlestar-galactica-season-finale-spoilers/ (huge spoilers, so don t go there if u don t wanna read em). So, the text reveals who are the 4 of the final 5. As we already know, without the websites help, some of the final five are living and working in the colonial fleet. The 4 that are in question have a past, and we even saw a few times their memories, and we know that they lived in the colonies for quite some time. That being said, the website isn’t really convincing. But then, we know that the final five are special. We don t know what they are, we could suppose that they are more than the other cylon models, much more. We could even think that they are some sort of gods, now that too being said, I can t help but to think that those final 5, being special could have been planted in the colonies before the attacks of the miniseries. There is also a thing about Starbuck and a thing about finding earth on the website. I don t know what are their sources but the text seems very interesting and gives some very interesting ideas. {{unsigned|DedMed}}

No offense, but I do believe we have enough reason to totally disregard that conclusion. Firstly, and might I add, perfectly timed, the main page has a link to "Who is a cylon", with a website, blog, and a nice canon explanation of who is and likely is not a Cylon. Saul Tigh... Whom I call "The Tigh Dog"... but who is known also as "The Tigh Fighter" (YES!) can't possibly BE a cylon. And why? Just as I stated, he's been known by Adama for too long (at least prior to the FIRST war). Second, this leads to my speculation from the talk on Crossroads Part 1... Even if these guys are the Final Five... they still aren't cylons. The Final Five are not Cylons. That's what I have been suspecting ever since the Oracle gave prophecy to Biers... ever since The Hybrid gave prophecy to Baltar. That's when I remembered Shelly from "Six Degrees of Seperation". Aw, come on guys. Firstly, you're buying into the notion that the Cylons are nearly omniscent. Isn't it probable that the Cylons themselves have been mislead? In addition, this stuff about Cylon models being created thousands of years ago makes no sense. There are only 12 models they know of. The encephalitus disease that knocked out a whole basestar of Cylons should debunk that long shot. If we are going to split hairs on what a Cylon is... then we need to reconsider who created them in the first place. I believe the 13th tribe left a faction, most likely the priesthood, behind. That priesthood wanted to fulfill some destiny or resolve some unresolved issue in the distant future and they were the invisible hand behind the first cylon war and the cause behind the Cylon visions (projections), the cylon rebirthing, and other spriritual technologies the Cylons have. In addition I believe the final five are actually the original five prophets that the Cylons mistakenly believe are "cylons". Even if I am wrong about that, to simply dismiss Tigh as a Cylon for the reasons above makes no sense. I bet during the fourth season the so called "revelation" that Tigh, Anders, and the others being cylons will turn out to be a Cylon (or Prophetic) hoax. And this... is where I think Six Degrees of Seperation will play a role. "What happened to Shelly"? She never really left, she has been manipulating things on the ship. Here is my theory on the whole "Tigh is a Cylon" thing, Tigh (and the others) are NOT the Final Five Cylons (they will initally think that they are but are mistaken). They will discover that they are descendants of the Final Five models who intermarried with humans back on Kobol and that the "Final Five" were the first cylons who were created by "the Jealous God" (who is also the God worshiped by The Seven we have seen so far). Which will still leave room for Starbuck to be one of the Final Five. I have to admit that a lot of this is comming just from instinct and my imagination but it would make a lot more sense than Tigh being a Cylon since from what we have already heard that the Cylons are immortal (and is safe to assume that they DO NOT AGE, which Tigh would have done since the First Cylon War 40 years ago). *Roslin takes [[doloxan]] treatment in [[sickbay]]. As she lies down and dreams, she experiences the same dream as [[Sharon Agathon]], also in sickbay with [[Hera Agathon|her daughter]], and both scream simultaneously. The two ask to talk privately.
*Later, Roslin and Sharon Agathon meet with [[Caprica-Six]], who has also experienced the dreams. When asked why Six is trying to reach Hera, she says that she felt she had to protect her "with (my) life."
*[[Saul Tigh]] tells Admiral Adama about the music. The admiral tells Tigh that he will look into it later as he leaves for court.
*The trial resumes. Lt. [[Felix Gaeta]] is on the stand. The [[Precipice|execution order]] from [[New Caprica]] is admitted as evidence by [[Cassidy]], the prosecutor.
*Gaeta lies, as viewers are shown the actual events where Baltar is forced to sign at gunpoint, where Gaeta says that Baltar did not resist.

*After a recess, the defense begins its case.
*Lampkin motions for a mistrial, as Baltar objects, due to prejudicial comments by Admiral Adama four days before. He asks for Mr. Lee Adama to take the stand.
*The prosecuting attorney strongly objects, but after Lampkin warns of much case law that permits such a procedure, the tribunal allows Mr. Adama to testify.
*Mr. Adama refuses to confirm his father's comments. As Lampkin tries to intimidate Mr. Adama, he restates, asking if Baltar deserves a fair trial.
*Asked why, Mr. Adama believes Baltar is not guilty, but Admiral Adama asks for the questioning to continue.
*Pressed for more clarification, Mr. Adama states that Baltar did not commit treason. He asks the tribunal what anyone else would do in that situation. He notes that all other conspirators and resistance fighters were pardoned, as was many, many other mistakes of the past, from [[Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part I|Roslin]], to [[Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part II|Admiral Adama]], and himself in the destruction of the ''[[Olympic Carrier]]'' and running from [[New Caprica]], recommending never to return with [[Pegasus (RDM)|his battlestar]].
*Mr. Adama believes that new laws are needed because they are less of a civilization now and more of a gang. He states that, unlike everyone else, Baltar is being prosecuted because of his arrogance and is not being accorded the same forgiveness as others.
*Adama believes that the trial is built on emotions and shame from the events of New Caprica, and the shame of those that ran away. Mr. Adama looks to his father as he speaks.
*He believes that Baltar is a scapegoat for all the guilt of the people.
*The prosecuting attorney does not cross-examine, and the defense rests.
*The tribunal steps out to deliberate as Roslin steps down to congratulate Cassidy for her work.

===Act 3===
*Baltar is acquitted, 3 votes to 2 against. Yelling turns into a riot in the gallery as marines try to get Baltar to safety while the [[Fleet News Service|press]] tries to interview many players.
*Baltar is happily discussing the victory but makes a mistake in insulting Admiral Adama. Lee Adama warns him, "Don't push it, doctor."
*When Baltar asks Lampkin to aid him in a book tour and other profitable matters, Lampkin tells him that his association with Baltar is done.
*Baltar suddenly realizes that, despite his apparent freedom, he is a man without a country, without work, friends, or even quarters.
*Lampkin and Mr. Adama say their goodbyes. Lee Adama, on seeing Lampkin walking away without his cane, realizes that he had used the cane as yet another psychological tactic.
*Gaius Baltar tries to be inconspicuous as he moves files elsewhere, but all eyes are on him.
*Roslin and Admiral Adama speak in [[CIC]]. She is incensed at the verdict. Adama reminds Roslin that "not guilty" does not mean "innocent."

== Miniseries Standardization ==

Of all the episode articles, the Miniseries article is most nonstandard, with much information that has been discussed ''ad nauseum'' in many other articles on Battlestar Wiki. As with any episode article, the content should reflect the parts aired, the significant summary of events, and brief questions and analysis generated by the initial broadcast (many of which has been answered).

The current format has extended analysis in the second part, most of which is painfully redundant with [[Battlestar Galactica (RDM)]] and many, many other articles. I will be revising both parts to reflect their episodic nature, separating the events in each part, with questions and analysis for each episode. The articles will be renamed based on our current naming procedure in managing multi-part episodes. Both parts will avoid extended questions and analysis as much from the miniseries has been answered, but will point to the episodes and other articles that answer these questions. Caprica-Six, Galactica-Sharon and Caprica Sharon are the first examples against. Especially Caprica-Sharon could be called a "human agent" now. A Number Five shot Caprica Six because she helped Baltar. Since the third season we have one [[Number Three]] Character who played and will probably play in future a special role. If I remember correct, it was the same Three, who was slain by Six in [[Downloaded]]. We heard that the oracle said, she never should hold the child, because everything will change then. But she did. The first consequence was, that she did not nuke the town. I think, now at the latest we should give her a special name. In the describtions it would be much easier, to identify her. I am not sure why, but my entires on Valkyrie, Eugene Novacek and Admiral Corman which were primarily just images uploaded onto the pages were deleted...I don't get it, doesn't it help to have pictures to refer to the subject the page is discussing. If it is a matter of spoiling future episodes with these pictures, readers are imformed at the top of the page which all of the above mentioned pages have, that the page is a spoiler. If it is my own fault for not siting where i got the images taking them down isn't exactly the answer, why not modify them yourselves. I realize I am a huge amateur so, discussing this for me will help myself and possibly others.

== Firefly class ==

I have what might be a dumb question, and I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but here it is: Does anyone think it would be a good idea to create an article for Firefly-class transports? I mean, a Firefly class ship could be seen in the skies of Caprica in the miniseries, so it might be worthy of an article. The reason I am asking is because the Star Wars Wiki has an article for Firefly class ships (see: [[Wookiepedia:Firefly-class mid-bulk transport|Firefly-class mid-bulk transport]]). Basically, since a Firefly-class ship was shown on a single panel of a Star Wars Webstrip, it was deemed worthy of it's own article on the Star Wars Wiki, so I was thinking that since a Firefly could be seen in the Galactica miniseries, it might be worth an article here as well. I'm one of the admins over at the Star Trek Expanded Universe wiki, which, if you didn't know, is the fanfic/fan film counterpart to Memory Alpha. I was wondering how I would go about having the box below the editing field with all of the formatting shortcuts added to my wiki. Considering that I'm also the rank archivist for the wiki, it's extremely agitating to have to type out the <nowiki></nowiki> tags every time I'm writing something about the different grades of Petty Officers and Second/First Lieutenants. == Ratings? ==
One of the stats on the Lurker's guide episode guides were a "P5 Rating", an informal poll rating the episodes. Would that be of value? Personally, I'd almost rather see something more like the last vote in the Coaches poll for college football, where the votes are published. Something with the user, the rating, and maybe a brief explanation of why they rated it like they did. My only fear is that may degenerate into cross-talk and vote manipulation ("I voted a 1 because User:Starbuck_Rocks_My_World is an idiot and voted it a 10 when it should really be more like a 6 but she just really like Starbuck episodes.") I noticed that this wiki doesn't have an article about Martial arts or hand-to-hand combat. why isn't there one? We have seen boxing used in several episodes, and we have seen a naked [[Eight]] practicing [[Wikipedia:Tai Chi Chuan|Tai Chi]] (even though Tai Chi is consitered a type of moving meditation, it is still technically a martial art).
