Gina ˈʤi.nə is a Cylon agent who posed as a crewmember aboard the battlestar Pegasus (Resurrection Ship, Part I). She was identified by the crew of that ship and apprehended (killing seven crewmen in the process). She was incarcerated, brutally interrogated, tortured, and systematically gang-raped by many of the crew.

When Pegasus encounters Galactica and her fleet, Gina is examined by Gaius Baltar. He is heartbroken by her state, and resolves to help her in any way he can. He convinces Admiral Helena Cain to permit her to be fed, and recounts to Gina a story of his love for her copy on Caprica, before the Cylon attack (Pegasus).

Gina begs for Baltar to kill her and put an ultimate end to her suffering. When Baltar reminds her that she would just be revived in another Number Six body somewhere else, Gina reveals to him that it wouldn't happen if the unknown Cylon ship that Pegasus had been tracking is destroyed. She calls the vessel a Resurrection Ship, and that it was used to collect the consciousnesses of Cylons who die too far away from the Cylon homeworld and download them into new bodies. With no Resurrection Ship to download her consciousness, Gina would truly die if she were killed (Resurrection Ship, Part I).

When she senses that the Resurrection Ship has been destroyed, Gina begs Baltar to kill her. She is incapable of killing herself, because within the Cylon religion suicide is a sin. However, Baltar convinces Gina that she should go on living and get "justice" for what happened to her. With Baltar's help, Gina escapes from her cell, makes her way to Cain's quarters and shoots Cain with a pistol, killing her. Then, through unexplained means (probably aid from Baltar), she manages to escape the Pegasus (Resurrection Ship, Part II).

After Laura Roslin finds herself at her death bed, the Cylon peace movement summons Baltar to Cloud 9. Here, Gina has assumed a role as one of the leaders within the peace movement, leaving her followers unaware of her Cylon nature. She disguises herself by means of glasses and a different hairstyle. Gina attempts to convince Baltar that, upon assuming the presidency, he should go up against Adama -- and thus solidify the distrust for the military within the Fleet. As a result of the massive sexual abuse she has suffered, unlike "standard" Number Six copies Gina is averse to intimate contact of any kind, as observed when she bites Baltar when he instinctly tries to kiss her. After Roslin recovers from her cancer -- thanks to Baltar -- Gina is given the nuclear warhead earmarked for Baltar's research into a Cylon detector (Epiphanies).

Gina was supposed to appear in a subplot in "Downloaded" in which she conspired with D'anna Biers to kidnap Hera, however the episode ran long and all of the scenes involving Cylons aboard Galactica were cut.

Following Baltar's election as president of the Twelve Colonies, he visits Gina in her room aboard the Cloud Nine, attempting to explain to her that because of his new duties he'd be unable to see as much of her as they'd like. After he remarks that he'd make what time he could on New Caprica, she tells him that she wouldn't be leaving the ship to join the new colony. Angry, Baltar attempts to leave the room, but Gina simply says "stay," while proceeding to undress, choking back her physical aversion in a desperate attempt to make him stay with her. They share an intimate interlude, and later, while Baltar is being sworn in as president, Gina sits naked on the floor of her room in front of the nuclear warhead. The timer running, Gina is crying softly as the device detonates, destroying the Cloud 9 and several ships in the vicinity (Lay Down Your Burdens, Part II).

With the Resurrection Ship destroyed, Gina's death is presumed final.

Notes
*Gina is a reference to some fans' derisive nickname for the Re-Imagined series, GINO - "Galactica In Name Only" (itself an allusion to RINO and DINO, considered by some to be derogatory political terms) (Source: "Pegasus" podcast.
*Gina has darker hair than the other Number Six copies seen so far. It is unknown whether she has naturally white hair which she dyes honey-blonde (another part of her disguise), or all Sixes have naturally honey-blonde hair which they dye white. Gina had dark hair before joining the Peace Movement, but that could be the result of grime. (When Caprica-Six is reborn (Downloaded) her hair is white.)
*Gina's death is even more presumably final due to the testimony of a Number Five that New Caprica was uncovered by the Cylons by accident when they arrived one year after Gina's death. If Gina had been transmitted to a second Resurrection Ship, she might have disclosed the location of the Fleet sooner.

The Real Daggit
Muffit was Boxey's daggit which was killed by falling debris during the Cylon sneak attack. Boxey mourned for Muffit on the Rising Star, refusing to eat as a result.

The "Muffit II"
To ease Boxey's emotional suffering, his future father Apollo asked Dr. Wilker to furnish a prototype robotic daggit, called the Muffit II. As no daggits had survived the sneak attack, there was a genuine need for replacement daggits, as they had played numerous roles in Colonial society, including that of domesticated pet, watch animal, and tracker. In order to train Muffit II, Wilker scanned an image of Boxey into its circuits for imprinting purposes, thus allowing Boxey to train the robot.

Among other things, Muffit was trained by Boxey to "sniff" out mushies. This ability came in very handy when Boxey, Boomer and Athena were stranded in the Galactica's rejuvenation center. Muffit was able to sniff out the mushies placed on the bridge, and thereby negotiate a convoluted, maze-like path through the ship's ventilation ducts to retrieve gravely needed lifemasks. Later, Muffit would return to the fire-engulfed duct system to save the life of a fallen firefighter. ("Fire in Space")

Overview
When a Cylon attack destroys the fleet's food supply, Adama and the others must agree to certain compromises with old acquaintances and with the inhabitants of a grain-rich, yet politically turbulent planet.

Summary
* Cylon Raiders slip past the defenses of Blue Squadron, destroying two of the fleet's three agricultural ships; the remaining vessel, Agro Ship Nine, has a breached airlock.
* Personally inspecting the damage, Colonel Tigh learns that the fleet's entire crop supply was destroyed in the attack; more importantly, the fleet's supply of seed has been exhausted and must be somehow replenished, according to Agro Specialist Carmichael.
* The fleet had recently passed by the planet Sectar, home to a small agricultural settlement of humans, in the Zeta quadrant; Commander Adama plans to trade an old energizer (one without Colonial markings) to the settlement, in exchange for new seed.
* The only energizer available for trade is owned by Siress Belloby, an old acquaintance of Adama, who refuses to relinquish its ownership unless the commander meets with her personally; Belloby hosts a bouquet-wielding Adama, who agrees to romantically court the siress, in exchange for the energizer.
* Belloby and Adama insist on accompanying Apollo, Starbuck, and Boomer on the mission to Serenity, the small agro colony on the planet; Boxey and Muffit tag along as well.
* Before the Colonial's arrival, Dipper sees a full moon and warns the residents of Serenity of an impending attack by the Boray, herd-like humanoid creatures which pillage the town on horseback, killing constable Farnes; Bogan, the settlement's leader, has trouble recruiting a replacement constable.
* Starbuck and Boomer ride into town, posing as farmers looking to trade their energizer for seed; Bogan, seeking a new constable, offers the warriors employment instead, but they decline.
* Returning to their shuttle landing site, Starbuck and Boomer are ambushed by Dipper and accomplise Duggy; their vehicle (and the energizer) are hijacked; freeing themselves, the warriors realize they've been robbed by Bogan's men; Starbuck returns to town to confront the thieves, while Boomer returns to the shuttle to inform Adama and company of the hijacking.
* Bogan denies involvement in the heist, but offers to sell the seed to Starbuck; not having enough money, Starbuck joins a pyramid game to increase his funds.
* Producing a three-level pyramid, Starbuck wins the hand, drawing suspicion from Dipper and Duggy; Starbuck expresses his suspicions as to the source of their funds, implying their role in the theft of the energizer.
* Still short on funds, Starbuck is tricked into "winning" the constable's star during a hand of pyramid, becoming the de facto town constable. Entering the saloon, Adama demands to see the local law enforcement official, only to discover that it is none other than Starbuck.
* Bogan insists that Starbuck must face up to his duties as constable, regardless of how Starbuck came into possession of the constable's star; facing the attacking Boray, Siress Belloby is captured and dragged off by the marauding pig-like creatures.
* The townspeople point out the general direction of the Boray camp; Apollo brings Muffit, who tracks Belloby by her scent to the Boray cave.
* Finding the Boray encampment, the Colonials hold off the creatures with a few warning laser blasts; Adama negotiates privately with Nogow, the Boray leader, but to no avail.
* Starbuck hatches a plan, trading his constable's star to Nogow in exchange for Siress Belloby.
* Back in town, Adama buys the required seed from Bogan, while the townspeople reluctantly meet their new constable, the Boray leader Nogow.
* Unimpressed with Adama's negotiating skills at winning her release, Belloby dumps Adama, much to the commander's relief.

Questions
<!-- Use bulleted lists. Try to list questions in number of importance. If the question was answered in a future episode, make a link to the episode. -->
* Why does the sudden appearance of the full moon startle Dipper? Of course, the Boray attack under a full moon, but doesn't the moon appear in regular cycles that can be predicted by the colonists? They are aware of space travel, but somehow can't accurately predict the cycles of their own moon?
* Why does Starbuck risk confronting the thieving townspeople alone, without partner Boomer?
* Other than for dramatic purposes, why do Adama, Belloby and Boxey join the shuttle mission?
** Belloby has a romantic agenda that seems to involve getting some alone-time with Adama on the planet. As the owner of the energizer, she may have insisted that they accompany the mission.
** Apollo indicates that this mission isn't very dangerous, which is his excuse for including Boxey -- and he turns out to be right; Boxey's involvement is almost non-existant. Apollo was probaby as glad as the viewers are to not have to suffer through one more scene of Boxey pleading with Apollo and Apollo having to make excuses for Boxey's exclusion.
<!-- You can use bullets here, or you can use standard paragraph form. -->
* The town bears an uncanny resemblance to the agricultural town on Equellus, from the The Lost Warrior episode; also, just as on Equellus, the town is only seen at night.

* The footage of the Agro Ships as well as the interior of the Agro Dome was re-used footage from the film Silent Running

* The episode (The Magnificent Warriors) bears a resemblence to The Magnificent Seven, a movie where 7 gunslingers are hired to protect a town from an invading bandit. A further connection can be made in that there are seven Galaticans who come to the town (Apollo, Starbuck, Boomer, Adama, Siress Belloby, Boxey, and Muffit).
