* After jumping successfully to the [[Fleet]]'s location, the ''Galactica'''s power systems shut down.
* After landing on ''Galactica'', Lee Adama, Kat, Hot Dog, and Flyboy are walking through the corridors with flashlights. Flyboy stumbles into a Cylon Centurion -- the Cylon kills him and the rest attempt to flee.
* As Hot Dog and Kat flee up the stair way, Lee attempts to kill the Cylon. A small group of marines come from behind the Cylon, using an explosive round is able to take it out. Unfortunately, it was their last one, they'll have to get more as it is the only round that works against the centurions.
* Lee's group goes to the storage locker on deck 12. They find a survivor and, unfortunately, only six explosive rounds.
* Gaeta states that the Cylon virus has infected some of the ship's isolated computers when they were networked; he has teams cleaning them out.

*Helo reveals to Starbuck that the Cylons recovered the bodies and brought them to cremation centers, hence the lack of bodies.
*Socinus, initially slated to die in early drafts of "[[Scattered]]", dies in this episode -- euthanised by Tyrol.
*Colonials used internal combustion engines (Starbuck's Humvee). Probably not fossil fuel burning, though, assuming the Kobol's refugees arrived on the Colonies only thousands of years rather than the millions of years it takes for fossil fuels to form (unless science discovers that petroleum is produced abiogenically). *After the shooting of [[Adama]], a [[Cylon]] basestar ambushes the Colonial fleet, prompting [[Colonel Tigh]] to execute an emergency [[FTL]] jump procedure for the fleet to rendezvous at another point. When the Galactica jumps, it finds itself stranded from the rest of the fleet, and in the middle of nowhere.
*After being shot by [[Boomer]], [[Adama]] is rushed to the ship's infirmary. Due to the fact that [[Doctor Cottle]] is not onboard the ship, a team of medics must work to stabilize [[Adama]]'s condition.
*[[Lt. Gaeta]] devises a plan to find the co-ordinates of where the fleet jumped: he networks all the onboard computers aboard the [[Galactica]], so it will only take 10 minutes to compute where the fleet is. The only problem is that the [[Galactica]] will have to jump all the way back to [[Kobol]], and hold off the [[Cylons]] until the calculations have finished.
*[[Colonel Tigh]] goes to see the incarcerated [[Boomer]], who insists she knows nothing about what's going on.

* Interesting connundrum: If [[Kelly]] is the ''Galactica'''s third-in-command, then why haven't we seen (or heard) more from him in the past? It seems to be more or less contrived.
** '''Note:''' Captain Kelly is the supervisor on the ''Galactica''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s flight deck (which was mentioned in the [[mini-series]]). This may explain why the audience hasn't seen him up until this point.

The sudden incapcity of two superiors has bumped him up the ladder. It is also worth noting that Doc Cottle holds the rank of Major, as stated in the Miniseries, which would make him third in command, were it not for his absence from Galactica when Adama was shot.
* Adama and Tigh served on a freighter together after leaving the military; Adama was responsible for bringing Tigh back into the military when he reentered.

A Colonial munitions dump suspended in the upper atmosphere of the gas giant [[Ragnar]] ([[Mini-Series]]).

When the [[Cylons]] launch their [[Cylon Attack|surprise attack]] on the [[Twelve Colonies]], the [[Battlestar]] ''[[Galactica]]'' was caught without any munitions for her main and point-defence batteries. [[Tigh, Saul|Colonel Tigh]] determines that Ragnar Anchorage offers the best opportunity for re-arming the ship, even though it is some 3 days' travel from the ''Galactica's'' position at sublight speeds. His decision may well be based on the sound reasoning that the Anchorage, suspended in the atmosphere of the planet, offers the ''Galactica'' the best opportunity to re-arm while reducing the risk of the Cylons finding them and renewing their attack before the ship can defend herself.

While at Ragnar Anchorage, the ''Galactica'' obtains enough munitions to completely re-arm her guns, and she also collects a number of [[Class-D]] warheads. Her crew also encounter [[Conoy, Leoben|Leoben Conoy]], posing as an arms trader, who eventually gives the Colonials their first real insight into [[humano-Cylons]].

While at Ragnar, the ''Galactica'' is joined by the fleet of survivors gathered by [[Roslin, Laura|Laura Roslin]]. When they arrive, Adama is persuaded to alter his original plan to bring the ''Galactica'' into the fight against the Cylons into one of flight, protecting the fleet as they make a jump from Ragnar, heading for the [[Promar Sector|Promar sector]], well beyond the "red line" associated with long-range [[FTL]] jumps.

==Notes==
To minimise the time needed to get to Ragnar, [[Adama, William|Commander Adama]] orders the ''[[Galactica's]]'' [[FTL]] drive systems are used, which prompts a comment from Tigh that an FTL jump hasn't been made in some 20 years. However, given the fact that so many vessels within the fleet are FTL-capable, and the jumps are undertaken with considerable accuracy (the ''Galactica'' arriving precisely in synchronous orbit above Ragnar Anchorage station, for example, suggest this cannot be the case. Rather, it may be the case that Tigh was referring to the ''Galactica's'' jump drive systems not having been used in 20 years.
Another possible explanation could be that given the strong gravity well and electromagnetic field that a gas giant such the one at Ragnar would possess, plotting a jump to emerge at close proximity to the Anchorage would be an extremely risky measure only to be undertaken in emergency situations.

Launch tube (TRS)

The launch tubes fit one ship at a time. Each one is manned by a launch supervisor. After running the preliminary checks on the ship -- usually a [[Viper]] -- the launch supervisor presses the launch button and the clutch puches the [[Viper]] out at an incredibly quick speed. The launch tubes are separated from the [[Hangar Deck|hangar deck]] by large airtight metal doors. When these doors close after the ship is in the tube, the doors at the end of the tube open, allowing the tube to open up into space.

[[Alert Fighters]] are kept in the tubes at all times just in case a threat appears and the [[Combat Air Patrol|CAP]] cannot reach it in time or such.

The launch tubes are used to allow the dead a military space funeral when there is no earth in which to bury them in ([[Act of Contrition]]).

At the moment only the port launch tubes are operational. Starport launch has been converted into a gift shop to go with the museum in the starport hangar bay.
