There is widespread support for the strike among cast, crew and fans. Show-runner Ron D. Moore's new blog keeps a track on various strike-related activities including the "Pencils2MediaMoguls" campaign.

A deal brokered in early February 2008 looks likely to be ratified by the WGA rank-and-file. Productions may resume as early as the 13th [1]. E! Online has suggested, based on comments by writer Jane Espenson, that production on Battlestar Galactica will resume quite quickly, but the remaining episodes of Season 4 may not air until the autumn of 2008 or the start of 2009.
