The ongoing [[w:2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike|Writers Guild of America strike]] has resulted in the suspended production of [[Battlestar Galactica (RDM)|Battlestar Galactica's]] fourth season, along with the majority of scripted US TV and film. The strike began on 5th November 2006, by which time 11 episodes (half) of [[Season 4]] had been completed.
 
The strike continues, and may result in season 4 having a large mid-season hiatus, being split into two separate seasons or the series as a whole ending prematurely.
