Hello.

I come to you because I need your help. I started to update the french part of the wiki, to translate various pages from the english one, to import templates the french wiki didn't use yet etc etc. I noticed you were looking for somebody to manage the french wiki. I do not exactly know what it'd be about, but let's say I'm quite interested in this.

The reason of my message is simple. I updated the Episode List (not the template, only the wikipage) and had to do some modifications, involving accents, missing or useless capital letters, and special letters. I think i'm done, however these modifications broke several links to episode pages.

I know it is possible to hide them on screen, but that would not be quite clean, that's why I tried to rename the pages who needed it... unsuccessfully, since I'm not allowed to do it. Could you please grant me the correct permissions, so that I could rename the pages with a correct typography ? Afterwoods, when there is no more broken links on the "episode list" wiki page, I shall update de "episode list" template page, and the episode infoboxes.

Colors and First letter of title in uppercase

Hi Shane.
Just two questions for the moment.

Can you give me all the hexa code for the colors you use for the wiki?
Is it possible to disable or to show me the way to disable the automatic uppercase of the first letter of each word on the article title please?

Hi, Shane, thanks for fixing this for the German version (it works); sorry I didn't notice earlier, since I wasn't active for a while. Perhaps it would be a good idea to drop this transformation alltogether...

@LIMAFOX: You can create a personal stylesheet in your profile which applies this change. (for German, it looked very wrong because this language has quite elaborate rules about uppercase first letters; but I didn't intend to discuss anglo-saxon habits). --Tobias 19:32, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

The Matrix Wiki Skin

Hi, I've recently joined Wikia and started adding to the Matrix wiki, where I noticed that you'd posted to the main talk page about a new style design.

The skin at the moment is terrible, but as I've only ever really had experience altering the content of articles in wikis I have no starting point to alter it (the internal help is pretty limited at the moment too). I'm familiar with CSS and web design etc. so if you point me in the right direction I should be able to improve it, but if you're still willing to help with the style that would be more awesome still.

I'm not thinking anything too fancy, just a plain black background, green text and so on, but with an animated gif of the falling matrix code on either side of the page to really make a good impression.

I believe it is in reference to my removal of some actors (i.e. Michael Hogan, Tahmoh Penikett, Kandyse McClure, Michael Trucco, Allessandro Giuliani) from the guest stars section of season 4 episodes. I don't plan to take this any further back (you suggest that I might continue on as far as season 1) as these actors were in fact guest stars in earlier seasons and are correctly listed as such. I have removed them from the season four sections as they became part of the starring cast at the beginning of season 4 and are no longer guest stars. I don't see any need to propose this to the think tank as it is a cut and dry error correction. -I'm currently updating the french wiki templates (translating the english ones). Since I translate the documentation, the code, and the templates' names, there may be some issues involving missing templates, or templates whose name is still in english (and thence not found when they are called)... This shall be fixed soon.
-Good news for the interwiki bot. I added the interwiki links by myself into templates pages because it is simpler to use an interwiki link than typing the entire URL everytime I had to go back and forth through each language versions...

With the french localization, the main namespaces were modified to french ones. However, the misc. namespaces (i.e. added with extensions of the wiki software) were not updated to french.
