Kuralyov enjoys science fiction, Arthurian legend, Classical Greco-Roman history, alternate history, and left-wing politics. I never saw the original "Battlestar Galactica," and given the average quality of the Sci-Fi Channel's productions didn't know what to expect, but I now am sure glad I watched the mini-series and got hooked to the new BSG.
