Battlestar Triton, featuring integrated command and control systems, and featuring Dr. Gaius Baltar's Command Navigation Program (CNP) is reported as lost with many other battlestars of the Colonial Fleet during the Cylon Attack, along with the Columbia and Solaria (Miniseries).
While it is never explained how Crashdown escaped the Triton or when he joined the Galactica, Boomer refers to him as "a refugee from Triton" (33) and Crashdown's uniform insignia on that episode clearly shows 'Battlestar Triton' rather than that of the Galactica.
In the Re-imagined Series, the battlestar is likely named after one of the Lords of Kobol or a supported figure in Colonial faith, given the parallels to the Colonial faith and the pantheon of Greek gods.
