:I think it seems pretty clear the duties assigned on the ship. Thrace is in command. Agathon XO, Gaeta third in command/ navigator/ watch officer. Sharon is the assigned Raptor pilot. Costanza, Seelix, Anders, Pike and the tattoo guy are the viper pilots. Mathias was the Marine NCO. Does Adama actually give Thrace command of the ship? Agathon will be the ranking officer on board, and I can imagine a situation where he needs to pull rank on the maverick Thrace occuring (and making good TV). OTW 17:51, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

- Well, doesn't Thrace has more time-in-grade than Agathon ("Pegasus")? In any case, there can only be one commanding officer on a ship, and I doubt Adama would put someone he appoints to command a mission in a position to be contradicted.
