Caprica City has a shoreline, perhaps the beach is there. It'd make more sense to name a beach for the city it's on than the entire planet. --Pearse 11:55, 29 June 2006 (CDT)

This one is tough to justify. Aside from Tigh's comment, there's only speculation to go on, and a very questionable likelihood for more information. Still, it's a place, but I want to truncate the amount of assumed information. Compare with other mentioned-only locales such as Pilgrim Bay and Gup's Point. --Spencerian 08:45, 30 June 2006 (CDT)
I think it's a good point. Naming a beach after a planet is a little absurd. --April Arcus 17:06, 30 June 2006 (CDT)
I agree. It sounds so little like a proper name that back when "Bastille Day" aired I decided not to include it. --The Merovingian (C - E) 17:39, 30 June 2006 (CDT)
Sort of reminds me of "Miami Beach"; I guess it's probably located in Caprica City since it was next to the ocean too. --Sauron18 18:42 30 June (CDT)
As much as I agree with all of you on the fact that it seems foolish to name a beach after a planet (Earth Beach just doesn't sound right, does it?), I have to go with Spencerian on this one. It may be very likely that Caprica City had this beach on The Shoreline, but the information given on this locale was so vague that would be an assumption. Besides, looking at this image, , the waterfront almost looks like it's rocky. Not ideal for a beach. --Homeworld616 13:41, 1 July 2006 (CDT)
It's a big city, with a lot of shore. --Sauron18 15:04 01 July 2006 (CDT)
There are sections of Miami that look that built up from that distance, and still have lots of pleasant coastline. The speculation seems grounded enough to be worth noting. --April Arcus 17:13, 1 July 2006 (CDT)
You're right, April. That speculation is probably as close as we're going to get to the beach's location anyway. It deserves to be in the article--Homeworld616 13:33, 3 July 2006 (CDT)
