There are various DVD versions for the first season of the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica, most notably:

Battlestar Galactica - Season 1 (Region 1)

  • Number Of Discs: 5


The set contains not only all the episodes from season one, but also contains the Miniseries episodes. Subtitles are availble in Spanish. Some of the episodes have commentary from Michael Rymer, David Eick, and Ronald D. Moore. An entire disc is devoted to featurettes about the series.


Battlestar Galactica - Season 1 (Region 2)

  • Release Date: March 28, 2005
  • Number Of Discs: 4


This is the R2 version that contains solely the Season 1 episodes of the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica.
