Raymond Lai

Captain Raymond "Raygun" Lai was a Viper pilot in the days of the Mark II. Kara Thrace inherited his Viper Mark II (tail number 8547) during the flight from the Cylon-occupied Colonies.

Ray Lai was a concept artist for the 2003 miniseries. Some of his work can be seen on Galactica.TV
Raymond "Raygun" Lai can be seen on the Air Group Organization Chart at the end of The Passage, in the flight led by Kara Thrace. Although this is clearly a gaffe, it is interesting to note that Starbuck herself flew Lai's Viper during the miniseries.
