In the original series, the fumarello was a fairly large cigar, similar to a parejo. Typically seen near or in Starbuck's mouth, much to the dismay of the Cylons and their chest armor.

In the re-imagined series, cigars are not referred to with a special name, but it is noted that they are made of a plant product called fumarella leaf. (Water)
