Overview

Colonel Tigh must meet with the Quorum of Twelve. They wish to see President Roslin, and are growing impatient at the colonel's unwilligness to cooperate. They believe Commander Adama wishes to turn the fleet into a military dictatorship, and thus also believe Tigh is in on it as well. Zarek takes the political situation to heart to make a power play over the other quorum members.

Tigh attempts to explain the commander's decisions, saying Adama loved democrary (past tense, a point Zarek points out, taking to mean that Adama is dead; and which Colonel Tigh counters with saying he will pull through). They are also angry that the Cylon raptor is missing, and such an asset was allowed to be lost).

President Roslin is alone in her jail cell, where Ellen Tigh pays her a visit.

Meanwhile, Adama is being operated on by Dr. Cottle; he has removed one bullet, but cannot find the other one. Complications arise and Dee and Tigh must leave the operating room.

In orbit over Kobol, Lee and two Raptors are searching for a transponder signal from the downed Raptors. They find it on Kobol's northern hemisphere and begin to land.

Notes

"Frag" is American military slang for intentionally killing a superior officer of your own force in the field. Popularized during Vietnam, when discipline lagged and a few officers got grenades in their bunkers or caught "friendly fire" during a skirmish.
