In addition to that certain words are treated as proper nouns - like Viper, Raider, Cylon, Fleet (rag-tag fleet only) - and thus capitalized. I've taken the liberty of modifying your edits to the [[Mercury class battlestar]] page, namely removing the reference to ''Pegasus's'' computer's being offline during the Cylon attack, as that fact is already covered by the article on [[Pegasus (RDM)\|''Pegasus'' herself]]. In addition, I've had to revert your edit to [[Mercury class battlestar/jp:マーキュリー・クラス・バトルスター\|the Japanese in-progress translation of the Mercury class battlestar article]], because in your efforts you removed some of the translated text in an effort to modify the page. (Which does happen from time to time, but the great thing about the wiki software is that such things are easily fixed.)

Our [[BW:SAC|editing standards and conventions policies]] may differ from other wikis, especially in verb tense and voice, capitalization and the like. '''Please read this policy.''' We have [[BW:TUT|an editing tutorial]] and [[BW:MARK|wiki markup codes]] to help you.

Our policies on [[w:Original research|original research]] differ from places such as Wikipedia. We allow [[BW:CJ#Derived Content|some research based on aired episode content]], but don't allow [[BW:FANW|speculation that isn't supported from episode events]].

Battlestar Wiki's [[Battlestar Wiki:Project List|many projects]] help improve our content. Are you a [[Original Series]] fan? Help out in the [[Battlestar Wiki:Original Series Article Development Project|Original Series Article Project]].
