	Yeah, I wondered about that too. The most we could probably write is "speculated to stand for either 'solar unit' or 'stellar unit'". What 'Stellar unit' has going for it is, that - if one were to be anal about it - "solar" only refers to our own star system. For example there is only one "solar system". But in any case, it's a term that neither exists as such in real life, nor is it defined in BSG.
