Moore]] has suggested in interviews that he felt Sheba was originally a one-shot character, designed to be a female version of the dedicated and brooding Captain Apollo, and thus created a dramatic tension akin to Apollo meeting a mirror image of himself.  Having achieved this with the character of [[Kara Thrace]], there was no need to create an analog of Sheba when ''Pegasus'' was introduced in the [[Re-imagined Series]].
