	Judging by the evidence in Razor, It seems that the woman killed was not Laird's wife. Prior to the shooting, she is shown being comforted by another man in the crowd who also lays a hand on the young girl assumed to be her daughter. This same man is shown acting horrified and reaching out towards her as she and her daughter are pulled from the crowd by Marines. Based on that, I'd say that Laird's shock was directed more towards the fact that it was the Colonial Military, not the Cylons who just shot those people, rather than it being his wife that was just executed. Or at least commission him as an officer if his education level allows (which is probable). 			"Pegasus" leaves it somewhat open if his wife was killed, but I think "Razor" heavily implies this with his reaction shots about the dead civilians. I think the woman the camera focuses on at the end is his wife. The camera pans from Laird to her. That's also the one Shaw shoots, so maybe that's why the camera is on her...or both.
