== Story ==
A water main burst early this morning in downtown Caprica City causing the street to fill with water and several nearby residents to be evacuated. Water began filling the street at 3:17 AM in front of 615 Olympic Street. Emergency workers from the Department of Public Works were called in and managed to shut off the water and repair damaged pipe. However, work crews are still in the process of clearing the flooded area and cannot guarantee that the road will be cleared by the day's end.
"We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused to drivers or nearby residents," said Althea Erasmus from the City of Caprica DPW. "Sometimes, these things happen."

It is still unclear what caused the pipe to burst but when asked if it might be related to MAGLEV attack or the recent Holo Cafe bombing, Ms. Erasmus quickly replied. "I can say with certainty that this was an accident and is in no way related. It's just a nuisance, not an act of terrorism."
Caprica City Police are still directing traffic away from that area. Officers say several blocks of Olympic Street could remain closed during tomorrow's commute.
