Domia is a habitable planet located in an uncharted binary star system that is briefly chosen by the Council of the Twelve to be the new home for the human race (Hades Hath No Fury). Its name, given by Colonial navigators, means "Home" in the Kobolian language (No Place Like Home).

Overview
Domia is one of two habitable planets in its system, with possible tylium despoits. It has a tropical climate, created by its two suns, which results in a dense, lush jungle covering most of its surface. The planet is notable for its mysterious, ancient rock formations, which are later discovered to be the source of the hostile unnamed Domia creatures (No Place Like Home).

Colonization
Against the strong objections of Commander Adama, the Council of the Twelve votes to end their search for Earth and colonize Domia (No Place Like Home). A landing party led by Apollo establishes a temporary settlement, including military barracks and civilian housing (Hades Hath No Fury).

Shortly after the Council arrives for a dedication ceremony, the settlement is attacked by the non-corporeal Domia creatures, who emerge from the nearby rock formations. The creatures prove impervious to laser fire. The attack is only halted when Sire Obob, acting on a theory from Starbuck, destroys the rock formations with a shuttle's weapons. The resulting explosion devastates the settlement and forces the Colonials to abandon the planet (Fire in the Sky).
