During their escape, they set fire to the tylium mines, leading to a chain reaction that ignites the tylium throughout the mines of the whole planet. Leading to an exodus from the planet for the Colonials,Apollo and Starbuck fool the nearby [[Basestar (TOS)|Cylon basestar]], upon which the [[Imperious Leader]] is aboard, into descending closer to the planet before Carillon explodes ([[TOS]]: "[[Saga of a Star World]]").

			Following the {{alt\|Battle of Cimtar}}, {{alt\|the Fleet\|TOS}} makes its fearful flight to Carillon via the Nova of Madagon, uncovering the largest mine for tylium in the star system. Overseen by the [[Lords of Ovion]], who mine the tylium for the {{alt\|Cylons\|TOS}} (unbeknownst to the Colonials), Warriors {{alt\|Starbuck\|TOS}} and {{alt\|Boomer\|TOS}} encounter a [[chancery]] and resort on is surface where humans are enticed and engorged. Eventually, {{alt\|Apollo}} and Starbuck uncover the horrifying connection between the two seemingly disparate operations: the Ovions use the chancery to acquire their foodsource, humans (and potentially other beings).
