Peter D. MacLean (January 2, 1936—May 28, 2003^[1]) was an actor who portrayed President Arends^[2] in the Original Series episode "Experiment in Terra".

A graduate from Boston, Massachusettes' Emerson College^[1], he has guest starred in Starsky and Hutch, Charlie's Angels, Glen Larson's Buck Rogers in the 25th Century and various other television series from the 1970s and 1980s.

MacLean passed away on May 28, 2003 from complications of lymphoma.^[1]
