Born in South Africa in 1980 and now living in Vancouver, British Columbia, McClure also won acclaim from a host of major newspaper critics for her role as Sue Snell, the haughty high-school girl who gains a conscience, in the 2002 telefilm remake of Stephen King's Carrie.
Kandyse McClure made her screen debut in the 1999 TV movie In a Class of His Own. She has gone on to such telefilms as 2gether, Return to Cabin by the Lake, L.A. On the big screen, she has appeared in Romeo Must Die and See Spot Run, and on TV has guested on the Canadian series Level 9, Jake 2.0, Andromeda, and starred in the "Abduction" episode of the SCI FI Original seventh season of The Outer Limits.
