Ellen Gerken is the actress who was a bit-player in the Galactica 1980 episode "The Return of Starbuck" as the flight officer on Galactica's bridge.

In the ending credits for "The Return of Starbuck" her name is mis-spelled Ellen Gurkin.

Aside from her brief stint in 1980, she briefly tried her foray into acting, her last appearance being that of a paramedic in an episode of the Richard Dean Anderson series, MacGyver.
