I believe this is a derivative of Mark I Viper. I have the impression that, say , a Mark VII eyball search would not be possible and this is another indication of the value of old technology.

Mark I Eyeball is a real military term. It means the unaided eye (literally Mk. I in that it is unenhanced). --Talos 22:28, 28 September 2005 (EDT)
