It seems odd to me that people are concerned about Latin based phrases making an apperance on the show based on the fact that they're "Earth based". There are about a million things that are Earth based on that show, starting with English. If they were to explain the existance of Latin, they'd have a lot of explaining to do. Point is, I don't think that it's worth mentioning, not like anyone is trying to have everything else mentioned either. Thorn 02:37, 25 January 2007 (CST)

Agreed, I don't like that all Earth-based references are called "odd", peculiar" or "interesting", when so much of the culture and language are earth-based. That's why I already edited some of those things. Here for example I added "although several character names (like Gaius and Valerii) are also Latin". It's not like this a singular occurence.

Those notes are probably from people with a 'the Colonials are the ancestors of the ancient Greeks' "agenda", for whom every greek reference is ok, but an english/Earth one is an oddity. Personally I hate that theory, and think that Earth of the true origin of mankind. But I don't think BSWiki should actively promote either POV --Serenity 05:19, 25 January 2007 (CST)

Bionic Woman

My opinion on the show is still out, but Katee knock her character of the ball park (mixing cliches). My early opinion is she is better in this show than BSG. Seems to be the part she was borned for. Just my opinion, I could be wrong ;-).--FrankieG 15:21, 27 September 2007 (CDT)

CSI rumor

There's a blurb about Katee in the latest tv guide. (They seem to have something BSG-related almost every week). They mention she was apparently a lock to be the "replacement" Sarah Sidle, but execs saw her read and nixed it. Worth noting? --Steelviper 19:53, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
