:No idea. Apple havn't made any announcements about showing TV shows on the UK iTunes Store. They seem to be testing the waters with the Pixar short videos but there are no plans as yet to roll out TV shows properly like they do in the US. --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 11:43, 19 January 2007 (CST)

ITunes Statistics

Any statistics available about how many episodes are purchased from ITunes? Huh? 11:52, 14 October 2006 (CDT)

This information may be available as part of Apple's quarterly financial statement, coming next week. However, I doubt it will break out the individual purchases for Battlestar or any other product. --Spencerian 13:38, 14 October 2006 (CDT)

Rename and Expand

See ITunes Videos/New for my initial changes. I feel that we should rename the article to be simply iTunes (is it possible now to have lowercase first letters in the title, wikipedia does it) now that we are affiliated with them for the videos. I also feel that the page could be expanded to have a little more information and have a select few "download miniseries" small button type images. I also expect a "download episode" button to be placed on the episode pages but that goes beyond the scope of this article for the moment. Any furthar comments? --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 10:55, 18 January 2007 (CST)

Looks good. --BklynBruzer 11:06, 18 January 2007 (CST)
A redirect will do for it, I think, since either should best point a curious person. It does look good. You might want to also add the Original Series as well, which is now available. (No Galactica 1980, but that's probably out of mercy...) --Spencerian 11:34, 18 January 2007 (CST)

Do they accept paypal? MatthewFenton 05:46, 19 January 2007 (CST)

You can buy gift certificates using paypal which give you X amount of songs but as far as i know you cant buy individual songs on demand with it.--Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 06:17, 19 January 2007 (CST)
Tell a lie... you can use paypal properly https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/general/UsePaypalOnITunes-outside --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 06:18, 19 January 2007 (CST)

Images

A template would be created something similar to this imagetype so that the correct icon shows for whatever it is that you are linking to and the affiliate id is locked away in the template so people cannot mess with it. Here are my image ideas (also in use on /new/ page)

 • Used to subscribe to the entire podcast
 • Used to link to individual poscasts
 • Used to purchase an entire series (Miniseries, TOS etc)
 • Used on the episode pages in the infobox to link to individual episode purchase

We also need "Download episode" for free content. --Peter Farago 10:44, 19 January 2007 (CST)

iTunes links

These links need to be verified first before being deployed. Thanks! -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 09:32, 19 January 2007 (CST)

Oh, and yes, the episode links may be somewhat out of episode order... -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 10:04, 19 January 2007 (CST)
What's the "code" pattern? Shane (T - C - E) 10:08, 19 January 2007 (CST)

Oh, is that all? Wow. Would that be a field we'd need to manually update in the episode data box? --Steelviper 11:14, 19 January 2007 (CST)
