New Caprica Detention Center during the Battle of New Caprica

The New Caprica Detention Center is a Cylon facility on New Caprica (The Resistance).

Physically, it is an imposing concrete sructure with a motorized gate of steel bars. It contains facilities for questioning prisoners which are quite reminiscent of police interrogation rooms in the real world; they feature bare concrete walls, a small table, two metal chairs, a metal door with a small window, and harsh overhead lighting from a single source.

Number Five solicits Jammer to inform on the New Caprica Resistance inside the facility (Battlestar Galactica: The Resistance).

Saul Tigh is incarcerated in the center until his wife fornicates with a copy of Cavil as part of an exchange to free her husband (Occupation).

Laura Roslin is held briefly in the center while being interviewed about the Resistance suicide bombing by Gaius Baltar. (Precipice)

Kara Thrace is held captive in furnished cell where she is forced to live with Leoben for the duration of the Cylon Occupation. (Occupation)

The center had its main gates blown open by a Viper during the Battle of New Caprica and was subsequently stormed by the New Caprica Resistance under the command of Galen Tyrol and Samuel Anders, freeing all its inmates. (Exodus, Part II)
