Similar to the tobacco leaf, the fumarella (pronounced [[fju.mə.ɹɛ.lə] ]) leaf is used to make cigarettes (Water) and the fumarello cigar (conjecture).
The fumarella leaf grew on Caprica, according to a bragging Gaius Baltar, who gave one of his his high-quality cigarettes to Kara Thrace after a card game. (Water)
