The Colonial Dispatch is a wire service used by journalists and politicians in the Fleet (Lay Down Your Burdens, Part I). It is likely that this wire service is a subsidiary of the Fleet News Service, although it could also be an independent entity.
Following the first presidential debate, Tory Foster reads a news report to Laura Roslin from the Colonial Dispatch which reads:
