Overview
Caprica is a large blue-green planet, and the only colony directly seen by viewers thus far in the Re-imagined Series [1]. According to Gaius Baltar, Caprica was the seat of politics, culture, art, science, and learning. It was also one of the wealthiest colonies (Dirty Hands). In My Triumphs, My Mistakes, Baltar writes of a "Caprican Elite" as the emerging aristocracy of the Fleet.

- Baltar is elected Quorum of Twelve delegate for the colony (Colonial Day). His replacement upon his appointment to the vice-presidency is as yet unnamed.

The proposed spin-off series Caprica would have been set exclusively on the planet, set 50 years prior to the Cylon Holocaust and followed the Adama and Greystone families.
