Bonnington is a Marine aboard Galactica and is part of the fire team that rescues Captain Lee Adama during the early stages of the Cylon Boarding action. He later gives up his sidearm to Billy, President Roslin's aide, and accompanies Corporal Venner, Roslin, and Billy Keikeya to sickbay (Valley of Darkness).
