The Vigilantes, Viper squadron 3, was a Viper squadron in the Colonial Fleet before the Cylon attack (Mini-Series).
Later, the Vigilantes are assigned to the battlestar Galactica) at the time of the cylon attack.
Galactica pilot Lieutenant Kara "Starbuck" Thrace is a member of the Vigilantes (Act of Contrition).
