Raptor 312 is a Raptor assigned to Galactica, piloted by Lt. Sharon "Boomer" Valerii and ECO Karl "Helo" Agathon.

It flies in formation with Capt. Lee Adama and a Viper squadron in the ship's decommissioning ceremony.

It is later called into duty with Capt. Jackson Spencer's ill-fated squadron during the first hours of the Fall of the Twelve Colonies. The ship is pursued by Cylon Raiders and damaged by shrapnel from a missile, forcing it to land on Caprica, ostensively on the furthest outskirts of Caprica City. Its crew make repairs, not expecting to serve as a life boat of a few civilians selected by lottery, including Gaius Baltar. Agathon remains on Caprica in exchange for the extra weight of Baltar, believing that Baltar's genius was more important to the survival of the human race.

After being rescued by newly sworn-in President Laura Roslin's caravan, 312 aids in finding other stranded civilian ships before rejoining Galactica at Ragnar Anchorage, thus establishing the Fleet (TRS: "Miniseries").

While Valerii has flown other Raptors, namely Raptor 478 {{TRS|33|Water}, Valerii's primarily known for flying Raptor 312, as her name and call sign adorn the ship.
