* As an interesting note, in the original scene where President Roslin is discussing the strategic ore with Admiral Adama and Colonel Tigh, there is a voice-over by Snake in which he (judging by the voice) is killed by Scar. Obviously this is not canon because he is later mentioned as Jo-Jo's wingman much later in the episode.
* In an [[List of Deleted Scenes - Season 2 (RDM)#Scar|alternate scene]], when President Roslin is discussing the strategic ore with Admiral Adama and Colonel Tigh, there is a voice-over by Snake in which he is killed by Scar. Obviously this is an error, since he is mentioned as Jo-Jo's wingman much later in the episode. It is also possible that his name is used later because the earlier scene was already discarded.

Snake is the callsign of a pilot who flies as Jo-Jo's wingman, when Jo-Jo is killed by Scar. Snake survives the engagement and reports Jo-Jo's death to Galactica.

He is assigned at short notice to replace Captain Thrace when she feels that she is in no condition to fly (Scar).

Notes

  • In an alternate scene, when President Roslin is discussing the strategic ore with Admiral Adama and Colonel Tigh, there is a voice-over by Snake in which he is killed by Scar. Obviously this is an error, since he is mentioned as Jo-Jo's wingman much later in the episode. It is also possible that his name is used later because the earlier scene was already discarded.
