Captain Renner is the executive officer of Pegasus under Commander Trammel (see Notes). It is unknown if he held the same position under Jack Fisk.

Renner claims that he "was crewin' warships for 20 years" and is vocal in his resentment that Lee Adama is investigating Fisk's death (deleted scene, Black Market).

Notes

For legal reasons Trammel was renamed to Barry Garner for his appearance in "The Captain's Hand".
Since Renner only appears in a deleted scene and is never mentioned again in the series, his canonical status is questionable.
Additionally, the actor who portrayed the character is not credited.
