== The Symbol ==
Does anyone else think the cult's symbol looks like a modified version of the Aries astrological symbol? I just kind of assumed it was sort of expanding the general early Christianity allusions that pervade the cult, by taking a symbol of their oppression (not that Aries and Ares are the same, but using something maybe associated with the Sons of Ares like early Christians adopted the cross) and subverting it as a symbol of solidarity. Probably going out on a limb there, but I see a ram in that symbol. [[User:Alpha5099|alpha5099]] 21:37, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Has the Cult of Baltar taken over duties as a policing force? does this relate to the Arrangement that Baltar and Adama came to at the end of - I think it was No Exit? There is a cult member in the daycare when Boomer takes Hera and drugs her in "Someone to watch over me." -- Furyofaseraph 20:41, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Is it just me that think Gaius's Angels sounds silly? Baltar's Angels sounds much better --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 14:26, 14 May 2007 (CDT)

Well, it may be less confusing to TOS Baltar searches, but as its a riff on the US TV show "Charlie's Angels", there you go. --Spencerian 14:28, 14 May 2007 (CDT)
I think that association veers close to "silly" territory. At first I thought this was a joke. If a more serious term is desired, maybe "Baltar's rescuers"? Helpers? Saviors? (too religious maybe) --Serenity 15:50, 14 May 2007 (CDT)
What article even points to this? The fact that it is currently an orphan is tantamount to painting a laser on it (for a laser-guided delete). --Steelviper 15:54, 14 May 2007 (CDT)
I was rather debating on whether or not to throw the {{sillypage}} tag onto it. Having said this, I think the article is important enough to exist, particularly in light of seeing that these women are rabid Baltar fans who believe him to be some sort of messiah. (Remember that the young woman goes to Baltar's cell and asks to bless her ill child.) -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 16:11, 14 May 2007 (CDT)
Yeah, it definitely does have relevance to the show, but I'd prefer a more serious title, as the content isn't silly. --Serenity 06:49, 15 May 2007 (CDT)
Article is no longer orphaned. I'm sure we'll get a canonical name of some sort in the new season, either a name they use to refer to themselves, or how the Fleet leadership refers to them. JubalHarshaw 09:28, 15 May 2007 (CDT)
I've removed the "Silly", as to me "Silly" generally implies it is not necessarily canon. Also it's not funny. I expect the "Church of Baltar" will be a significant part of season 4. OTW 17:00, 28 May 2007 (CDT)
You've got that right. LOL -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Battlestar Pegasus 05:00, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

Bets on Gaius' New Life

  1. Gigolo to women who like men from Caprica who can "talk nerdy" to them.
  2. Pharmaceutical expert for designing new contraceptive drugs.
  3. Pharmaceutical expert for designing new contraceptive drugs, which he will then test as a gigolo. --Spencerian 14:27, 14 May 2007 (CDT)

This cult...

The Symbol

Does anyone else think the cult's symbol looks like a modified version of the Aries astrological symbol? I just kind of assumed it was sort of expanding the general early Christianity allusions that pervade the cult, by taking a symbol of their oppression (not that Aries and Ares are the same, but using something maybe associated with the Sons of Ares like early Christians adopted the cross) and subverting it as a symbol of solidarity. Probably going out on a limb there, but I see a ram in that symbol. alpha5099 21:37, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
