I got this information from an image from Steelviper. This is normally a huge file, but will be re-uploaded once the design elements are finshed. Shane (T - C - E) 02:47, 11 July 2006 (CDT)

I think it'd be a good idea to have a formal award system for commending any editor (admin or not) for exceptional achievements. If awarded, a tag similar to the featured article tag could be placed on their user page, which would place a little ribbon/decoration in the upper right. Clicking on the award would take you to a citation that narrates the specific circumstances under which that particular award was given. I think that the "shiny", without the story, isn't as meaningful. --Steelviper 13:50, 11 July 2006 (CDT)

I concur, SV. Or, at the least, it could be a mouse-over effect. But we definately should chronical what, specifically, a SoK was awarded for. Wasn't the TOS Star of Kobol a bunch of triangles pointing different directions? I coulda sworn... --Day (Talk - Admin) 14:32, 11 July 2006 (CDT)
When I got the iamge from SV, it was really looking hard with my eyes on the screen to the design. There might be another set of triangles but smaller. It's really hard to pick out though. lol. Best I could do, unless there is another source of the Star of Kobol. Shane (T - C - E) 14:34, 11 July 2006 (CDT)
Shane posted a little collage I put together over at the Star of Kobol. It's kind of hard to see (at best). --Steelviper 14:36, 11 July 2006 (CDT)
Day: The "SOK" could goto BW:SOK/Day where it would be listed. I am not sure that I can indivuate more than one "SOK" nomenation with one image. Steelsuggested a oakcluster (bronze through gold) just like the miltary. bronze = 1, silver = 5, gold = 10. Depening on what can be done. --Shane (T - C - E) 07:39, 12 July 2006 (CDT)

In my mind, this should be a strictly informal "kudos", like a Barnstar - just post the image to someone's user talk page when you feel like they've earned it, and they can then choose to display it on their user page proper. --Peter Farago 12:52, 12 July 2006 (CDT)

We can create as many mouse-over things as we wish: create a <span> with a title field set and modern browsers will display that text when you mouse over it. Like this. --Day (Talk - Admin) 15:43, 12 July 2006 (CDT)
