How do I write articles for the wiki?

The policy article, Battlestar Wiki:Standards and Conventions, explains the formatting and preferences contributors should use when writing a new article, or creating a new one.

What constitutes an "official source" for information?

How do I report or deal with vandalism?

Can I add fan fiction related items to this wiki?

While we do not allow fan fiction or related information (such as non-canonical characters and events) to be listed in articles, please see the Fan fiction article for information on some fan-related material. Visit the Battlestar Wiki:Wikipedian Quorum to recommend an external link that may deserve inclusion on the Fan fiction article or subarticle.

Should you see non-canonical information in an article that isn't Fan fiction or its subarticles, please tag the article at the top of its page with a {{non-canon}} tag. It'll be dealt with accordingly by another contributor. Otherwiee, you may edit it yourself.

Can I add my own FAQ to this page?

If you feel that this page would benefit, you may feel free to add your own questions (with the answers, logically!) to this page. Any additions or corrections would be appreciated, and it falls within the spirit of a wiki.
