The Battle of Caprica is a conflict between the Colonials and Cylons above the colony of Caprica. At one point in the battle, a basestar invades Caprica City's airspace, and deploys numerous squadrons of Raiders which are able to inflict major damage to Caprica's major population centers, including Caprica City.

The date and final results of the battle are unknown ("Blood and Chrome").
