Why would one want to blank the history of an image? Being able to revert to earlier versions is often a valuable tool. --April Arcus 11:59, 24 April 2006 (CDT)

For some cases, like the images me and Mercifull, once I submitted something and then he updated it, what is the point of having two of the same image. This would go for the DVD screencaptures also. --Shane ^{(T - C - E)} 12:02, 24 April 2006 (CDT)

For example. There was originally one image for a translation project whereas now there are two. The old one was then put forward for deletion. --Mercifull 12:04, 24 April 2006 (CDT)

I've often found that new screencaptures are inferior to older versions. We shouldn't deprive ourselves of the ability to make that choice later on. --April Arcus 12:32, 24 April 2006 (CDT)
