Airdates

The airdate for "Faith" needs to be adjusted. It's May 9th, not May 9nd.--Kevin W.So say we all 22:23, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

For future reference: you can fix such things yourself. Battlestar Wiki:News/Airdates is editable by everybody (most other parts of the main page are not, however). --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 23:20, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
That's strange. I knew about that page, but I could have sworn the error wasn't showing up there but was showing up on the front page. That's why I asked here. Hmm...--Kevin W.So say we all 01:45, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, even though the airdates page is correct, it's still showing up as "9nd" on the main page. --Kevin W.So say we all 07:48, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
Fixed that, that part was Template:Nextairepisode. --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 09:20, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Grammar Problem

Problem I have describe should be ...have described.

Spockezri 21:38, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks Spockezri! That's Shane for ya. :) -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Battlestar Pegasus 22:00, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
It was fixed before the great crash of 08. :D Shane (talk) 01:46, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

Canada Dates

Canada's broadcasts for the last ten episodes of season for resume at the same time that the US does: http://forums.spacecast.com/forums/thread/370361.aspx This means that 4.11 is broadcast 10PM eastern 16 January 2009 on Space: The Imagination Station, can we get the front page updated please? -- Xdroop 18:00, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks, Xdroop. Not to slight Canadians, but because of space and format limits as well as the "home port" of Battlestar Wiki (the US), we show the US air times there on the Main Page. On the episode guides, the air date for the UK is also shown, but because we'd be doing that for every nation, we limit it at that. Good that you don't have to wait like the Brits to see BSG (they normally have 1-3 months delay!) --Spencerian 00:52, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

Blog

What happened to the blog? Just a big empty space I can see (monobook). OTW 01:31, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Moved it to the Portal:Blogs. I can't find this empty space on monobook. Hard refresh. It was casuing slow downs being on the main page. Shane (talk) 01:57, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

The Last Aired Episode and Next Episode are both out of date. Don't know how to change this myself. OTW 22:49, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

new movie - news worthy?

A new BSG movie seems official (not s4, not caprica), see: http://community.livejournal.com/aarondouglas/113815.html and http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/showtracker/2008/08/battlestar-gala.html --Xlynx 16:13, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Question

Question: If hardcore Star Trek fans are called "Trekkers" or "Trekkies" and hardcore Star Wars fans are called "Warsies" then are BSG fans "Galacticans?"--Balator 01:54, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

  • "frakers" or "motherfrakers" if you wanna shine em on. --Tritium 01:15, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
  • Actually that don't sound too bad...It's probably more official than "Galactican" as I thought it would be--Balator 01:23, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

navigation pane?

just curious, where did the main navigation pane go? (main page, recent changes etc) this is just odd. Raziel Anarki 20:15, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

anyone? maybe it's only me (ie: me=noob), but it's a lot harder to navigate the wiki without it... (or just make clicking the the logo take you back to the main page) thanks. Raziel Anarki 18:09, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Yup, not having a recent changes link etc. is pretty weird. Ausir 20:28, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Episode

Why does it still say that the next episode to air is "Sometimes a Great Notion"? Shouldn't it be "A Disquiet Follows My Soul"? -- Space Lizard 14:14, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

I went ahead and changed it, but it probably should wait and be change after the episode airs in the UK. Thoughts, anyone? -- FrankieG 17:45, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
Good on ya, Frankie. The next episode box follows the US air schedule (as indicated by the little US flags in it). It's hard to accommodate all the different airing schedules (Canada, UK, etc.) and I think by far the vast majority of our audience is from the US broadcast region. It's not REALLY a big deal, in that it's pretty easy to navigate between eps when you get into them, but that's the way we've done it historically. --Steelviper 00:20, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Updating Rerun and Special Airdates Section

On July 28, the Sci Fi Channel will rerun the episodes "Blood on the Scales" through "Daybreak, Part II." When someone with the authority to update the Rerun and Special Airdates section, please add this. Thanks --BlueResistance 12:51 11 June 2009 (UTC)

Blue, you should be able to edit the page in question by going here. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Battlestar Pegasus 13:04, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for the guidance, Joe. It's up now--and without ruining the format, either! -- --BlueResistance 02:24, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
